Great place to stay. I needed an extended stay and it was accommodated with ease.
I felt safe there.
Bed was comfy and i couldn’t hear any noise from the rooms beside me.
The manager (Paul) was friendly and ready to assist with any needs. Awesome guy!
I will be back!

The first thing you notice is the bright teal building with pink doors! It gives a Florida keys 1960 vibe, but then you walk inside and are greeted with the most charming rooms. The privacy of the bedroom, the comfortable beds, the functional of the living room with a fully stocked kitchen! The amount of coffee and tea choice was incredible. The little details like the pillow chocolates and pillow spray was top notch. The back yard area is full of beautiful seating areas, a fire table and a bbq!! Private beach access to Skaha lake across the road is great. I am already looking forward to returning to Lakeside Villas to explore more!!
We were there for my son’s dental surgery and they had placed freezies in the freezer for him. It’s the small details that mean the most and leave a lasting impact. Thank you so very much.
Located 0.3 mi from Skaha Lake, this Penticton property provides free Wi-Fi and a refrigerator in each room. BBQ facilities and a seasonal outdoor pool are on site.

We came for medical reasons, and on the way between Summerland and Penticton there was a fatality on the highway which caused us to detour, taking a dirt FSR for 90 minutes. Thank you Google!! No one was out there to direct anyone. Once in our hotel in Penticton, we had a drink and toasted the poor person who passed . But then as we tried to head home the next day, another fatality happened on the same stretch of road and so we booked into a different hotel, this one with an outdoor heated pool. We made the most of a horrible situation, once more toasting the poor person that passed. BUT...locals say this is a common experience. Besides being horrifically sad, it's a real deterrent for us as tourists. No one wants to feel trapped or worse endangered as we drive that stretch of road into and out of Penticton. Maybe more policing that strip would slow these people down? Stricter road speeds? Hopefully you can come up with some solutions. We are worried about having to return for more medical appointments. Esp when winter comes and that FSR gets worse- there were some pretty dicey stretches of very narrow road or potholed places.

There are some gorgeous parts on the edges of Penticton and the outskirts, like right down by the water, around Skaha, and Naramata. Inner Penticton offers lots of excellent and unique shopping opportunities. There are many walking and hiking opportunities, and their museum (in the Library) is among the best I've ever visited. However, there is a considerable problem with the homeless population which grows and grows. I'm concerned for them, clueless as to how to help, but also I feel uncomfortable and (at times) unsafe as I'm informed that the drug problem plays a part, and drugs make people unpredictable.

Just went there to explore some of the back roads around Penticton- OK Falls-Oliver Osoyoos area. I didn’t go there for the beaches or night life. BTW if you need emergency care for any reason don’t waste your time with walk in Clinics. Go straight to Hospital Emergency. At least you are dealing with professionals.

This is an absolutely gorgeous vacation place , love it and we go back every summer … I specially like going during their Peach Frstival, lots of activities and shows to see …. My favourite are the free night concerts, it’s a great place to enjoyed with friends and family ( even the teens/ young adults like it)
Everything is close by so you can walk everywhere, the beach and beautiful lake just steps away from most motels …. It’s a magnificent place to visit
Lots of great dinner options and most motels units have a little kitchen, you can save by cooking breakfast and lunch , snacks, drinks etc .
WE LOVE PENTICTON 🥰🥰🥰

Despite a disappointing hotel we stayed in, we thoroughly enjoyed renting e-bikes and traveling the KVR for 6 hours. Visited the Abandoned Rail Brewing Co. and enjoyed a cold beer after a long and hot ride. Also try the Neighbourhood Brewing pub in town for great food!
It was Peach Fest weekend, so the free music concert in the park was nice on a warm, breezy evening.

Touristy town with beautiful sandy beaches and a refreshing breeze. The Slumber Lodge is in a great location directly across from the beach. Everything is in close proximity and is very walkable. Check out Gyro Park (host to numerous events), the Farmers' Market and all the wonderful shopping and dining experiences. For some great Mexican food and atmosphere we recommend Tequilla Vallarta on Main Street. We look forward to our next visit!!!
Hotel is close to Okanagan Lake, grassy park and is easily accessible from major highway and nearby restaurants. Plenty of parking was available. It has indoor swimming pool and hot tub, though we didn’t use these amenities this time. Room was spacious, air condition worked well in a few very warm days we stayed. Laundry facility in the hotel was a good amenity for a family. Check Inn staff was friendly and provided helpful info about the local area. Checkout was quick.
Air conditioning was very strong. Very disappointed that their pool was not open. Many at other hotels were. I love the lake, but I also like early and late swims in a pool. The room was very old, some dishes and towels were not very clean. One of the coffee mugs had a lipstick smudge on it, in the cupboard. Most likely put in the back by a guest. The housekeeping staff were very hard working during extreme heat, and very friendly and accommodating. Much appreciated
Cute, nicely decorated room in a beach resort. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom with bathtub. You can see that everything has been renovated recently. Easy to find the place as well as check-in. Kendra and Shelly were quick to respond to my questions about the room, and even gave some great recommendations about the restaurants. Definitely would consider staying here again when in Penticton.
Location is great. The restaurant attached to the hotel – Elma— is superlative! Aysa‘s parents run the motel and she runs the restaurant with help from her husband Mike. It is the best restaurant in Penticton, and certainly one of the best Turkish restaurants in North America! Stay in the motel and eat in the restaurant. You’re stay in Penticton will be wonderful!
Not too appealing from the outside but our room was lovely. New owners have taken great care with super comfortable beds and lovely bedding. Spotlessly clean with gilchrist and soames toiletries in the bathroom. Pleasant little garden area with bbq facilities for sitting out in the evening. Access to a lovely private beach right on the lakeside.
At -19 degrees out I would expect the room to be warm upon our arrival. Not only was it freezing in the room. 2 hours later it was still freezing. I called the owner and he told me it would take some time and he would see if he could find another heater. we really tried to support the little guys but ended up at another hotel. very disappointed.
The staff were really friendly and welcoming. The bed was comfortable, and despite being on the main drag in Penticton, the hotel was very quiet at night. Perfect location for us - very close to family we were visiting and right across from the mall. The hotel is being updated a bit, but it's still very no-frills - a good budget option.
Had a very comfortable stay in the King Suite. The room is spacious enough and was exceptionally clean. There was a nice view of the lake and the hotel is well situated being close to the down town core, beach, parks and restaurants. An added bonus is the bistro table & chairs where one can relax with a cup of coffee.
The room was really nice and recently renovated. The grounds are surprisingly nice as well as the pool area. The fitness room is small but sufficient. We will definitely be returning! We were very surprised at how much we enjoyed this hotel.
This old motel is ideally placed in Penticton very near the beach and pubs/restaurants. It is a little throwback to the 60's/ 70's when you did vacations with your family.
