We loved our stay at Shoreline. The place is decorated so well. The bathroom products were lovely. And of course the view is just stunning.

We enjoyed how the Hotel was interactive- more than just a lobby & restaurant.
We inadvertently forgot a small pillow from home,in our room when we checked out. Initially, the first time we phoned about it, we were told that it was our responsibility to arrange for shipping it back to us. The second call to Hotel Zed, the person answering immediately said that they could send it to us ~ no problem. We received it back yesterday. It may be just a pillow , but it has extreme sentimental value.

Our room looked out on Pier 1 in Tofino and we loved watching the float planes, water taxis and sunrises and sunsets from the many windows. It was an ideal location for the townsite, however, since my husband has mobility issues I had to drive for meals and spent a lot of time finding parking.

We loved Tofino and highly recommend it for a stay.
We loved Tofino and highly recommend it for a stay. Beautiful part of the country. Great food. Lots of outdoor activities. Took a boat trip with Remote Passages to see the bears and it was a fantastic 3 hours. Stayed at Chesterman beach which is a great location - Seafarer B&B (friendly, comfortable and quiet). Had huge breakfasts provided at the B&B and didn’t need to eat again until dinner! Had great meals at The Shelter and Roar (which is in the Zed Hotel) Restaurants. Drove 40 minutes to Ucluelet one day to walk tracks around Wild Pacific Rim. Fantastic photos - eagles, seal, landscape, rock pools. Lovely cafes.

Tofino is worth the drive.
Tofino is worth the drive. Loved the casual vibe of this remote surf town. In winter it was delightful. We went up to Ucluelet and did a walk. We surfed in very thick wetsuits, and we had a sauna on the beach. The whale watching in winter didn't seem to be so easy to find.

What an absolutely interesting place!
What an absolutely interesting place! And we experienced both a trees breaking, power outing ferocious storm, and some pleasant and moderately sunny weather. Our stay at the Tin Wis Resort was beyond our expectations. We look forward to coming back, maybe in the summer next time.

Visiting in the "off season" was very nice.
Visiting in the "off season" was very nice. Everyone seemed relaxed and there were no crowds. Lots of free parking available. Most stores/restaurants were open. Some of the tour groups were still operating as well.
Co-op was a great place for reasonably priced groceries, including a deli/bakery.
Trails were well groomed and easy to locate. Try to work in the Bog Boardwalk trail as it's a very unusual area.
People were still surfing/kayaking, etc.

Picturesque town on a beautiful harbour with gorgeous mountainous backdrop! Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby! Many trails nearby , accessible with a shuttle if no car . Bike rentals to ride to nearby beaches. Surf schools, whale watching, seaplanes and wildlife trips! Mountains, whales and bears , oh my !
Wonderful location and views of Cox beach which is the best surfer beach! really great chill vibe across the whole place and particularly loved the outside bar space with firepits overlooking the ocean.
Really nice room with ocean view and a huge bath! very comfy bed and nice additions like local coffee and sweets in room, blankets for outside and rain jackets!
also decent gym space and great hot tub! Service was also excellent with very helpful front of house staff!
You get what you pay for. If you don't want to pay 300+ a night for a hotel, the schooner is a good option. All we needed to do was sleep there and it was a good money saver considering the price of what was left for options around town or even in Ucluelet. It was a clean and quiet enough spot to lay our heads. It is perfectly located downtown, so you can walk around the shops and stores downtown and be right on the water.
The staff was super friendly!!!
The resort was impeccably clean, very comfortable beds, tastefully decorated, complimentary specialty soaps & coffees were a nice touch, the restaurant and pub with harbour views served delicious food and I'm picky. The alio y olio with spot prawns was scrumptious and their eggs benedict are among the best. They're well situated within walking distance of everything in town.
Location is perfect, right on McKenzie Beach and a nice walking distance to Tofino. The kitchen amenities are just ok. We were lucky that our cabin had a nice unobstructed view of the ocean. Most cabins off the beach would only have a view of another cabin, unless you’re on the upper floor. Staff was amazing. The cabin was very clean, and they have fire pits to sit around!
Excellent location! Walking distance to everything in town, room was significantly larger than a usual hotel/motel in my opinion & the view of the harbour was beautiful.
I really enjoyed our stay, it’s a great motel / price point for Tofino. We had a pet friendly room and they had a towel, dog bowl and a treat in the room for us which is a sweet bonus!
Incredibly clean, comfortable and cozy! My partner and I stayed here for four nights and can't wait to stay here again. So many perks to staying here - from the unlimited coffee to the ocean views! The staffing team were exceptional and very attentive. The history of the hostel (first hotel in Tofino in 1930!) is an extra bonus.
The property is awesome. It is right downtown Tofino and right on the waterfront. Simply perfect and great for small groups! Decor is great and the view was fabulous. Loved having a fireplace in the autumn weather. Bathroom was perfect. Although beds are a bit soft for my liking.
The room has a wonderful view of the harbor and location was central to Tofino. We also loved that it was spacious, had a kitchenette so we could prepare some of our meals. This was a very peaceful place to stay during our trip to the area.
The beds were very comfortable and my room had a terrace with an amazing sea view - I think it's one of the best views in Tofino. Lovely stain glass on the windows. Everything was clean and comfortable and I would stay there again.
Fantastic, quirky, fun hotel w/ great, unique amenities. Super friendly staff and intentional support, advocacy and partnership w/ local indigenous people and nation upon which the hotel sits. Great place to stay to enjoy Tofino!
Our stay was amazing. The lodge exceeded our expectations and the room and view were incredible. The beds were comfortable and the hottub was awesome. The room was one of the best parts of our trip to Tofino.
The retro aspects of the hotel. The outdoor hot tub area. The general mood, being alternative, fun, funky and young.
Loved sitting at the kitchen bar and watching the chefs prepare the meals.
Beautiful! I loved how the lodge was secluded in the trees, and right on the ocean. We also appreciated the adults only area.
The sound of the ocean while falling to sleep was the best part.
Incredible walking beach which is 1st class. Room was ok at best....good view. Squeaky bathroom door hinge was very annoying. Inclusive breakfast was good. Staff were helpful and friendly.
the best vacation spot. Took family visiting from Australia and it was their favourite part of the entire holiday. So peaceful and relaxing, great place to spend quality time.
Room was spacious and very comfortable, plus cute decor. Location was convenient to get to downtown Tofino. Staff was friendly! Easy to check put since there was a key drop.
