The staff were amazing. The front desk was always staffed and they spoke perfect English. Despite not reserving a parking spot they recommended a close garage. On leaving- we had issues with the garage (the machine canceled our ticket) and the staff offered and then came to the garage with us to help us get out. Complete lifesavers. We would still be there now if it wasn’t for them! Also the breakfast was lovely, the bed was comfy, and the hotel was in a great location. All around it was super worth the money but the staff are a 12/10!

This is a hidden gem. Maybe lacking the glamout and glitz as the high priced hotels. It was in a quiet neighborhood but only about 4 Km from Augsburg center. Easy to get to and from. Staff was super friendly and helpful even though not sitting waiting for you. Instead you ring a buzzer & they are quickly there to assist. Room was small but comfortable. The absolute high point is the outstanding pool, spa, & sauna !!! Breakfast was more than adequate. I would use again.

A beautiful historical city, that does not feel like the large city it is. It feels very warm and friendly. We love the original German restaurants and sitting at the Rathaus Platz (City Hall Square) watching people and enjoying food and drinks.

Augsburg is a very elegant and beautiful city.
Augsburg is a very elegant and beautiful city. The streets are lined with colorful stylish buildings, most rebuilt to the original plans following one of the heaviest allied bombings in 1944. The church of St Ulrich & Afra is a marvel, as is the Golden Hall in the Rathaus. The unique water system and the Fuggerei social housing complex also make Augsburg stand out in a historical context

Beautiful, clean city, with very interesting architecture.
Beautiful, clean city, with very interesting architecture. It is worth to visit Schaezlerpalais and the house of Leopold Mozart. It is very easy to walk throught the city where you can find everything you need. There is many nice restaurants, where they offer good and tasty food or small caffes for good coffee with a great cake. Our favorite restaurant was Aposto Augsburg.

A really interesting place with beautiful architecture.. but very busy. We were really interested in the small museum upstairs in St Anna’s church about Luther. It was very informative and well put together. The hotel Jakoberhof was right opposite the Feuggeri - the oldest social housing project in the world which was fascinating. We ate once at Burger meets Falafel which was just round the corner from the hotel.

The trams provide an excellent way of getting around.
The trams provide an excellent way of getting around. The city has many interesting historical buildings. There is a great variety of restaurants and cafes serving delicious food and cakes. The people are very hospitable.
It's right across a small street from the famous Fuggerei.
A walkable (for young people) distance from the main square. I even walked to/from the main train station. For the rest there's a tram line 1 (currently a replacement bus B1) to/from the main train station.
The room has a sink, which comes handy for washing you face/teeth.
Quite clean and nice for a hostel. I'd say it's more of a hotel except the WC and bathroom are shared.
We enjoyed our stay at the Dorint hotel very much: price of the room was including breakfast, the room itself was specious end well designed, the beds very comfortable and we had a nice view from the balcony. It was not possible to park out car in the adjacent parking garage, but the alternative was also fine. All-in-all, it was one of the best hotels we stayed for that price, location and facilities.
I came for one night stay in Augsburg to enjoy the old town. Location is couple minutes walk to train station and walk to old town. It feels great to be in a quiet park, has seating outside to enjoy a meal. It's also next to a mall with grocery.
My room is economy single but I love it. Very new, modern, clean and practical. It has all the storage you need in a small space. Staff are very friendly.
After hassling with long walks to find our hotels in other places, it was nice to just walk next door from the train station. Staff are fluent in English and were helpful to this American in getting oriented to Augsburg. I was surprised how quiet it was so close to the trains.
The hotel is in the best location. Everything in Augsburg is an easy walk away. Whilst the entry to the parking area is “interesting” to have secure parking under the hotel is a bonus. The room was small but very good. Alex at reception was so helpful, friendly and efficient.
Very good hotel located next to a tram station. The staff speak several languages, the breakfast is so extensive in options and they have also areas within the restaurant to have work meetings. The bedroom comes with a safe to put your stuff and they give complimentary water.
The rooms were great, especially the 4-person room on the corner of the building was amazing.
The breakfast was excellent too, lots of choices, great teas.
The hotel is optimally located to visit Augsburg, all of the important touristic sights are within walking distance.
Always a pleasure to come back to Super 8. We come to Super 8 every time to transit Germany. The tooms are super clean. The bed is amazing and the most important thing for us is the fact that they are super pet friendly🏆Compliments to the hole team
The breakfast buffet was much better than I expected for a Hostel (and even for a hotel in that price range). Though it is a hostel, my room felt more luxerious than in many hotels I have been for work travels.
A very clean, quiet hotel in the northeast of Augsburg.. A little away from the center of the city, but a relative bargin in price, and a very quiet evening. They have a restaurant on site. Breakfast was good.
Comfortable and super clean room, very good breakfast, free and secure parking, modern concept and decor, extremely reasonable for the quality of the hotel, and a highly commendable green ethic.
