Italian family-owned businesses! The host was very friendly. The room was good enough and nicely decorated. Free breakfast was offered in the morning from 8am but we had to leave early so we skipped it but restaurant area was nice and cozy.
The guesthouse Marienhof is in Kobern-Gondorf a few steps from the castle Liebig. There is a breakfast room, a TV-room, a park with a lawn and parking possibilities also for bikes.

Breakfast served individually like in restaurant. That was nice :)
Arrived later than the check in hours, that was not an issue with the staff.

Nice little hotel with decent breakfast. Rooms a huge and clean. Free parking. Don’t try to come earlier-we came in at 1PM - the door was locked.
Otherwise- the staff is friendly.
If you cannot stand the smell of cigarettes-don’t stay here. By night it gets into your room really strong

Kobern-Gondorf is pretty, lying among vineyards with views from the highpoints above the village across the Mosel valley. There are various places of interest within the village as well as a nice market place with bar/restaurants. It was a handy place to stay at a good price, given that equivalent accommodation was twice as expensive in Koblenz and Cochem. Train services were very good and competitively priced.
It is a quaint hotel. Old but with style. Friendly staff. We had apartment style rooms, which consisted of 3 bedrooms and a bathroom connected by a private corridor (no kitchen). Comfy beds.
Breakfast was excellent (fresh rolls!) (unfortunately, only German coffee, not strong).
From the hotel, it was a short walk to the Moselle. By following the footpath on the river bank, you can walk to the next village which has restaurants and a supermarket.
We had a lovely stay and would return.
Central location in the town with easy parking nearby. Room a decent size and quite nicely decorated. Breakfast provided was very good bearing in mind there were few guests. We didn't eat at the hotel but the dining area looked a very nice place to eat with tables outside when weather permits. Quite a nice comfortable stay for a couple of nights.
The staff was very friendly and service was really good. We liked the hotel very much, the room was large and bed was very comfy. The room was quiet, we slept well. Parking lot is near the hotel and it was free and secure. The hotel is 20 mins away from the Eltz Castle, the castle is really worth to see. We really enjoyed and definitely stay again :)
Very simple but functional apartment, which allowed us to be fully independent for our last stages of the Moselsteig. Since we like hiking early, a small apartment is more convenient than hotels, and allows us to have facilities like the kitchen. The apartment is very simple, but had all we needed for a short stay. The place is also quiet.
We absolutely loved staying at Hotel Garni Altes Winzerhaus Moseleschanke. The owner was so kind and friendly. The hotel is decorated very beautifully. We took several pictures of the hotel and breakfast room. During a 14 night trip to hotel where we changed hotels every night, this hotel was our favorite hotel of our entire trip.
We had the "Junior Suite" - room 2. This is on the top floor with 3 windows overlooking the fabulous town square. There must be few hotels in the world with such a nice view over a market square. Everything was clean, comfortable, and worked well in our suite, Friendly and accommodating owners too.

I always stay in this village when travelling north to Rotterdam. It is easy to get to. The staff at the hotel were very accommodating. I had to notify them that I would be arriving later than expected and they were still there to check-in. Will definitely use them again
The Hotel was really beautiful & had a lot of character. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was superb. Kobern-Gondorf is a gem of a characterful village.
