Located at the edge of the historic city, it was an ideal place to stay with public parking garages only a few blocks away. We were able to drive up to the hotel to check-in and drop off our bags, then park the car to nearby. It has a nice view of the lake and the room we stayed was clean and comfortable. The historic town and castle are just outside for you to explore and enjoy. The breakfast was also very good with lots of seating. Overall a good choice in this scenic town.

Awesome little medieval town at the lake!
Awesome little medieval town at the lake! Days and days of exploration: castle (oldest part of which is constructed in 6th century A.D.), palace, narrow streets, cute shops, promenade by the lake, quite a few good cafes/restaurants.
Ferries are going to Konstanz, various Swiss towns.

Meersburg is a wonderful historical town on Lake Constance,...
Meersburg is a wonderful historical town on Lake Constance, and it's easy to reach. It has a fantastic boardwalk with great restaurants and hotels. The upper and lower parts of the town are also full of lovely shops, hotels, restaurants and museums. If you're traveling in the lake region, it's well worth a visit.

Impressive medieval town but mostly full of shops, hotels,...
Impressive medieval town but mostly full of shops, hotels, restaurants, so it had an artificial quality. Great location for catching the many lake ferries.
The Hotel vum Schiff by the lake does fabulous food at a reasonable price, including imaginative vegetarian cooking.

We are not city people, and Meersburg was perfect for us!
We are not city people, and Meersburg was perfect for us! We stopped briefly in Konstanz and travelled to Friedrichshafen, and preferred Meersburg to them both. It was a beautiful town with plenty of options for food, drinks, and things to do. The Armeemuseum Restaurant was our favorite meal of the trip.

I would first observe what type of food is being brought out...
I would first observe what type of food is being brought out of the restaurants along the harbour first. Some German restaurant food on the harbour front is not good. While others, just next door to each other is excellent. We were dissatisfied and disappointed at eating at a few on the harbour while others we tried were excellent. Always give the other restaurants a try. You will be pleasantly surprised. We were. But do not be surprised if the servers do not care what you tell them. They know it’s a tourist trap and many will never return again. While other servers do have a conscience and do their best. Remember it’s not the servers who cook the food. It’s the cooks. When the food is good there is no problem, when not they are the ones who must always keep an upper lip and smile. If the food is bad, then ask to speak to the Chief or the head cook. If they know the food is not good, they will not come out to speak to you. The server will once again come to you and listen.
An absolutely fantastic location, just at the edge of the shopping street, directly on the promenade, with its own restaurant overlooking the lake. For the price, the hotel is incredible value. The rooms are very large for 1 person, extremely clean, well-furnished and have a large bathroom. Bikes can be stored in the inner courtyard which is quite safe (but exposed to the elements). The staff at check-in were wonderfully friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent as well. An incredible hotel for the price.
We had a lovely stay at the JUFA Hotel Meersburg am Bodensee, we booked a family room with bunkbeds and a room for y in-laws. Both rooms were clean and nice and had good views. The hotel has an excellent location in the heart of the Altstadt and within easy walking distance of everything. Our kids enjoyed the playground and indoor play room. The breakfast was delicious and we ate out outside in the courtyard. The staff were friendly and kind, and we will happily stay here again.
The hotel is beautiful and the location above the town was perfect for us with beautiful views over the lake. The breakfast was very good and we loved sitting on the balcony to eat it. The hotel maintained all the covid requirements without making it feel stiff. We happened to book the Piccolo "bungelow" (more to follow), which was spacious and comfortable and very private.
We walked our bikes up through the old city to reach the hotel and we were glad we did. Our rooms were lovely and traditionally furnished. We enjoyed the outside garden area for relaxing. We stored our bikes at the hotel and ate a delicious meal of regional specialties just steps away through the old city gate entrance.
Very close to Old Town. Once you figure out the two buses that take you across the lake via ferry when you want to cross to Konstanz, life is easy. Bus 700 and 7395 (?). Bus stop just a short block from the hotel. Great wineries right there is Meersburg. Great breakfast!
Excellent breakfast; quiet neighborhood; spacious room with chairs and a table, but a desk would have been great to have too. No elevator - no problem, but if so, ask for a room on the ground floor. The Meersburg lakefront is just too far to reach comfortably on foot.
The Hotel Löwen-Weinstube is located in old town Meersburg, close to all attractions. It's a beautiful historical building. Our good-sized room had comfi beds and a modern bathroom. Breakfast was very good.
The hotel has vouchers for a free parking.
Lovely family run hotel. Perfect location. Made to feel very welcome as visitors to the area. Spacious and very clean rooms. Outdoor space is ideal for summer evenings. Great quality breakfast with indoor and outdoor tables. Very highly recommended.
The property is extremely central and right next to the lake. There is a great assortment of restaurants and cafes nearby. Check in using a code box to get the key was super easy. The accommodation is basic but very clean and very comfortable.
Comfortable single-room appartment in the outskirts of Meersburg (10 Min Walking to the historical centre). Comfortable bed. Own parking space. Supermarket nextby. The appartement is located in a large flat building from 70ties.
My entire family stayed in the hotel for several days and we were all extremely satisfied! We all definitely recommend it. Beautiful, modern, convenient and the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful.
We loved the location. It was easy to find, and close to the main road, restaurants, a grocery store, and the sights of Meersburg. The breakfast was amazing also! Lots of choices.
super nice small hotel, with the best possible location in the little town of Meersburg at the lake Constanz/Bodensee.
Very small family own hotel, with fantastic staff.
Fantastic location in Meersburg close to the centre and with a fantastic sun terrace with a view of the lake. Able to store our bicycles safely inside.
