Located in the central square of Ainsa, you have easy access to everything in this charming medieval village.
You can unpack your car right outside the hotel, then drive it a short distance to the public car park. It's very picturesque. The hotel is small, and quite compact, so don't expect a large , luxury room, but comfortable with a modest breakfast downstairs.

Room was very large and very comfortable including a beautiful terraza and a large comfortable bed. Breakfast was good and restaurant for other meals was exceptional. Free parking was nice and location was very convenient to sites in town. Staff was very friendly.

Self-checkin worked well received text message instructions all good. The room was clean, the bathroom also and a good working shower. Location brilliant write in the heart of the old town with two bars on your doorstep and lovely restaurants near by. Parking a bit of an issue, probably depends on what time of year you stay. The Monasterio Barcelo added 10% to our accommodation and...
The Monasterio Barcelo added 10% to our accommodation and meal charges and 21% to our Spa use fees. This amounted to over 65 euros extra to our bill for a two night stay, and we couldn’t even get a table at the restaurant. Parking charges are outrageous as the hotel is on the edge of a small village in the middle of the countryside.

Beautiful building and surroundings. The room was luxurious with big bed and lots of space. Cooked breakfast available and good with fresh orange juice. Loved the outdoor cafe. Really nice historic town. Nice restaurants & bars. Great place to stay for a couple of days. Casa Coronel is a great restaurant - best meal I had during the whole holiday, and great value. Tough climb up the hill to the old castle - but great views of the town and surrounding area. Don't follow Google to get through the narrow roads in the old town.

The room (junior suite) was massive and very private, tucked away at the end of the hotel. The food was pleasant. The outdoor pool was wonderfully clean and the loungers were comfortable. We loved the fact that the tv was able to show Netflix and Prime video. When we arrived the loo was not working but it was fixed rapidly and we were sent a bottle of bubbles to the room as an apology. The fresh flowers in the bathroom were a nice touch too. The sound of the rushing river below our room added to the experience. We were hesitant about having dinner there because the hotel is so big, but our dinner was excellent and so was the breakfast. Ainsa, which is about 6 kilometers away, is a charming village with a beautiful small church. Worth a visit.
