The hotel was great, lovely rooftop pool and sunbathing area, food lovely. Staff very friendly, and the rooms were super comfy. We even had a side sea view. Location is fantastic for the beach.

Spacious and very well equipped, high quality mattresses, completely quiet, beautiful large garden with a spotlessly clean pool and generous and well decorated outdoor seating area. 5min walk to several supermarkets and delicious restaurants, also beach with breathtaking views. The owner Francesco is very kind and even showed us around for nice places to visit. It was a brilliant vacation.

Excellent stay, very clean, and modern apartment. Perfect amount of space for family of 4, pool is lovely, restaurant is great. They have provided lots of stuff for toddlers and babies to play with (Excellent play kitchen!) which is really thoughtful. Food incredible, staff very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend!

The beach was good; ideal for small children.
The beach was good; ideal for small children. The water is waist high at most for a long way out - plenty of small fish swimming around. As its a cove there is not a lot of space on the beach close to the water and can imagine at busy times it may feel a bit claustrophobic. The walk down from town is very steep. Theres two ways, a long sloping road, or a steep set of steps. I preferred the steps as there were no cars and it was shorted albeit steeper. Food and drink was decent and reasonably priced albeit nothing special. I wouldnt recommend cala 'n porter for a culinary experience but it was good enough that i was happy with all my meals. Casa Tia Tapas was my favourite overall. Samoa was my favourite of the big restaurants. The people everywhere were very friendly and spoke excellent english - kudos locals as my spanish is very basic! The apartment complex we stayed in was exactly what we needed - two bedrooms and a shared living space which allowed us to put our daughter to bed and have some space that wasnt our room. Everything is pretty close by in the town - supermarkets were good too Overall - a week is perfect - its a nice place - but I think after a week I'd have got bored and wanted a beach with waves and more sand and just bigger. Ideal for what I wanted for this holiday though which was a cheap easy family break with a two year old. Definitely recommend it.AAnonymousUnited Kingdom - 4.0Scored 4.0

Nice area, very clean. Quite hilly. Hard work for people with walking problems. Hiring a car is best if you want to visit other areas or go on organised trips. Beach in this resort is very difficult to get to if you don't have a car. Only way down is by a steep set of steps and go on forever. Unless you are fit and not worried about heights I wouldn't suggest trying it. Going down is hairy going back up would be a killer.

Great little resort with a fantastic beach. We went at the end of September and most of the restaurants and shops had closed down for the season. The resort of Cala'n Porter is very nice but may not appeal to younger travellers who may want a disco town. There are a few nice places to eat out and a few bars. We went in June before it got too busy, it met our needs in that it was peaceful and relaxing, it is a small town so the nightlife isn't what you would be going for, but the restaurants we ate at were decent and we always enjoyed our meals. I recommend eating at Club Menorca at least once during your stay, book in advance to get on the terrace as the scenery is amazing and its perfect to watch the sunset, the food is tasty and the staff were lovely.

Felt very secure and the decor in the main entrance was fresh and stylish. New TV and new air con, bathrooms looked new and all decoration fresh, no signs of wear and tear. It‘s not a luxury accommodation, but it‘s clean, comfortable, offers a good variety of fresh food in the restaurant, the personal is very nice and the beach is just wow! For us this place was just perfect! And we would come back for sure! I highly recommend to visit this place and this hotel. Thank you :)
