We stayed because of the thermal pool, but the water was only lukewarm.

The room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable.
The shower was good but bit cramped.
The heating worked well as we were a bit cold and wet from walking all day.

Best hospitality on the entire Camino. I injured my foot shortly before arriving here. Yolanda showed me the most care and love. A pilgrim herself, she bandaged my foot herself, she brought me coffee up the next day when I couldn’t get downstairs, she made me an appointment with a physio as well as telling me about her pal who rents bicycles - which ultimately saved my Camino. After my own hiking poles broke 3 days before she donated me a new one - which got me to Santiago. She also does give a wonderful stamp, but only if you do stay at the Albergue. And do because it’s one of the most memorable stays now of the Camino because of the absolute kindness shown.
It's a nice small town, very charming and picturesque.
It's a nice small town, very charming and picturesque. Nice parks to walk around, plenty of restaurants and cafes. It's small so easy to get around by walking. Did not partake of the hot springs but this town definitely famous for them.

Caldas de Reis is a beautiful, walkable village.
Caldas de Reis is a beautiful, walkable village. There is a 30-minute walk to a waterfall that I wanted to take but it was too hot that afternoon. It was too hot to take advantage of the hot pools as well. It would have been nice to stay another day here, take a rest day. The restaurants looked really nice as well.

Caldas de Reis is a regular stop-over on the Camino Portuguese. The main square with palm trees is lovely. There are cafes and you can sit there have coffee and enjoy, I only made a one night stop so can't really say much more.

We only stayed in Caldas de Reis as we were walking the Camino Portugese. We saw lots of things that'd been nice to further explore if we'd had a couple of days there....river, historic buildings etc.
Hotel is close to the Camino. Bed was comfortable, AC worked properly, great water pressure in shower and plenty of hot water. Our room overlooked the plaza so it was a nice view. The cafes, restaurants and shops are all within walking distance along with the churches. The front desk ladies were very friendly and helpful. We paid for breakfast the next morning and there was plenty of food to start us on the Camino - eggs, bacon, bread, yogurt, fresh fruit, juice, coffee, pastries, etc. The hotel was a perfect one night stop.
Had a two roomed appartment with good facilities. It was clean and comfortable. Arrived after a day walking the Camino in the rain so it was great to be able to dry our things on the clothes horse. Getting the key was straightforward and the luggage transfers were accomodated. The town of Caldas de Reis is very quiet on a Monday so we went to the local supermarket and eat in the appartment. Good option with the facilities.
Right in the middle of historical Caldas de Reis. the hotel is next to the Thermal springs whose temperature is above 40 C. The attic room was exotic. AC is fully operational. Very clean. Standing glass shower. Breakfast was nice. Enjoyed coffee a lot.
5 min away from self-laundromat, several supermarket (closed on Sunday, but one is open). Many restaurants are nearby.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool area was fantastic. The pool was comfortably warm and there were options to relax by the pool either in the sun or shade with plenty of seating. The mineral bath and spa was relaxing and the perfect remedy for tired muscles from walking the Camino. The hotel is one step (literally) off the Camino.
The location of the hotel is excellent, the breakfast was very tasty with lots of options (you have to preselect them the day before, but you can change your mind in the morning :) ) and the pool was a lovely addition after a long day of walking on the Camino.
The five stars, however, go to the excellent staff! <3
The hotel is in a great location. Fernando and his dad are gracious hosts. There is a patio with coffee & tea, and beer and wine available. The garden and pool area are lovely. Our room was clean and comfortable with good lighting and electrical outlets. We enjoyed our one night stay!
Beautiful and super comfortable apartment. Very conveniently located. Patricia is an excellent host. And Caldas de Reis a beautiful village. I recommend the walk from the park Las Carballeiras to the amazing fall. Nature is stunning ! I’m definitely coming back !
An Absolutely amazing find in Caldas de Reis. Just like a home from home while walking the camino (right on the camino path too). The host could not of been any more amazing. Everything you needed to have a clean and comfortable stay. Thank you so much.
Most importantly, our host. Miguel was so hospitable, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He went out of his way to help us. We stayed at his properties in Pontevedra and Caldas de Reis and they were by far our best stays on the Camino.
Michael was very very helpful. He signed us in, and later that night, he served us supper. Best of all, Michael found ourr missing passport and sent it on to our hotel in Padron later that night. What service! Thank you Michael.
Hotel Sena was clean and comfortable and had a nice walking path in the back of the property. There was a restaurant on site which was a good thing because the hotel was a little ways out of town.
A beautiful hotel. The room was great. Really comfortable bed. Great view!. Breakfast was fantastic. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again. . Beautiful gardens.
The hotel is very very clean and well appointed and luxurious; and the staff was wonderful! The location is centered in the old town in a historic building which adds to the charm.
This was a very comfortable stay in a nice old building with a modern bathroom. We were walking Camino and it was easy to get to. The hotel breakfast was excellent.
