Breakfast was good and the location was perfect for our journey back to Calais.
Our host was delightful and friendly and the house was comfortable and charming.

The hotel is in a beautiful location with every room overlooking the lake . The hotel is now nearly 30 years old andcould do with updating , the bathroom being particularly bad . The rooms have a kettle and a fridge , a plus point and the beds are comfortable The restaurant is good with much outside seating bythe pool if required .However , the price of breakfast is ridiculous , 16 eurps per person , I think. THe bar prives are lso pretty steep. However , the location more than makes up for the other shortfalls.johnUnited Kingdom

We really liked the sitting area outside our room. The room was spacious and comfortable, and we liked it that there was a kettle. The staff were all very friendly, and really helpful when we had the quite major problem of having left our passports in the previous hotel. It has normally been good but has gone through various iterations with different owners. I wasn't sure about returning but am so glad that we did. It is wonderful and we are hoping to go back to spend more time at the hotel and in this extremely interesting area of Picardy. The staff are lovely. Although a small hotel, it feels very open and spacious. The restaurant is also very good and the service was excellent. There is a Center Parks across the lake and of course the golf course nearby. This means the area is quite prepared for tourists and apart from the lake, there are lots of great walks and cycle trails to explore.

Breakfast was good. Great places to sit outside and the children liked the playground and table football. Particular thanks to the lovely reception staff.
