Had essentials for us. We had a vehicle, so parking was important; a short walk to the town centre was not a problem. Friendly staff, good facilities, outdoors.

Th location is convenient. It's near the highway and the center. We were here on Jan. 01. Everything is closed, and we were so glad the hotel offered the dinner. It was great. The staff is super friendly. The bed is super comfortable.
A beautiful and peaceful gourmet stop over, the hotel is situated only 2.5 miles from the center of the city of Orange. This cute country stone house is set amidst vineyards and green fields.

So charming and restful. Our pets were easily accepted as guests which is very important to us. The food at the restaurant was amazing; definitely worth a journey. The staff was very accommodating.

It is a small, intimate hotel in the centre. We had a large, quiet room facing away from the street. Very comfortable bed and linens! Friendly, English speaking staff. We would have stayed another night and had the breakfast, but had to catch an early train

Parking was quite difficult in Orange and you need to pay in the centre. The surrounding areas are absolutely stunning and well worth visiting especially the Gorge de la Nesque, Gorge du Verdun and of course the drive up to Mount Ventoux. The wine region is one of our favourites and there are many fantastic villages to see such as Gordes, Rousillon and L'isle sur la Sorgue (arrive early to find good parking)

After being down on the busy Cote d'Azur it was a welcome and peaceful respite. The old town is lovely and there are many cafes and restaurants to enjoy. The piece de resistance of course is the world renowned Theatre Antique amphitheatre where you can go to wonderful concerts - we went to see the unparalleled Sting.

Great peaceful, happening town.
Great peaceful, happening town. Nice size for a short visit as you can walk the major parts of the old town historic areas within an hour or less! Cute boutiques, jewelry, clothing, swimwear stores. Mostly independent shops. Saw lots of touring cyclists so the flat landscape is a big bonus for them. The Roman influence is everywhere: working amphitheatre, arc de triumph, ruins, etc. Recommend touring the amphitheatre and then going across the street to the museum. Lovely town squares with sycamore/plane trees to block out the sun. Lots of restaurant choices. Place dés herbes has a tea shop: lovely to sit outside an have a cuppa tea or coffee. Overall a peaceful quiet town of historic significance. Romans+ William of Orange/j’aoute of Nassau.

Delightful town full of Provence history - large enough to have all the facilities a traveler may want but at the same time of the non overpowering size - everywhere is accessible on foot. It also is a few minutes from the motorway so a perfect stop on a longer journey.

A pleasant town, but after seeing the main sights there is not a lot else but great starting point for many cycle routes. The Roman theater was magnificent.
Great hot chocolate and ice cream shop with a view of the theatre wall
I normally don’t review but Mas Mellou was such a fantastic stay, and Barbara such a generous host, I had to let people know. The BnB is located in the middle of the vines but a 10-15 minute drive to Orange and Chateauneuf-du-pape, so plenty to do. Our host gave us fantastic local recommendations and set up a great wine tasting for us. The pool is a plus on hot days! A really great base to explore the Avignon-Orange area, but also a very quiet and relaxing place if you just want to sit and read a book.
This is one of the cosiest hotel I‘ve ever been. A beautiful old house, renovated, with a wonderful patio for the breakfast time.
The owner is the friendliest person you can imagine. Such a passion for what he does! An excellent host! Thank you Noel.
The house is wonderful, very clean, big room beautifully decorated. They have space for 5 cars and can recommend safe parking.
From now on, this is our hotel in Orange. I can only recommend it!
We have stayed at this hotel before and would usually score it excellent 10
But not on this occasion, with no air con, and a troublesome toilet flush, and no hairdryer
I was unable to obtain any wifi on my laptop but it was okay on my phone.
We are booked to return in March and hope things will be just a bit better.
Still the best B&B we have stayed in.
Easy parking close to town.
This is an outstanding place to stay if you are in Orange. A little quiet Oasis right by the Arc de triomphe. It's a newly renovated villa with a lovely garden and pool. Our hostess Astrid couldn't have provided better service; she made restaurant reservations for us, drove us into town when it was raining one night and assisted in several other difficult issues. Good value too.
This is a very small and personal hotel located in the very centre of Orange. Upon arrival I felt very welcome and although small and perhaps a little old fashioned, hotel was perfect for a one-night stay. Reasonable priced public parking was available nearby. The breakfast was typical continental, however also served with a personal touch by the limited staff present.
Noël, the owner, is an excellent host. He was so helpful and attentive.
I only stayed one night. The room was comfortable and extremely clean.
The hotel is centrally located; close to many restaurants and shops. Really ideal.
Breakfast was a buffet with plenty to choose from.
There is a large courtyard to sit, eat and relax.
Excellent value.
Very friendly staff and climate of family owned hotel
Perfect place for day or two in Orange
Fantastic breakfast with some of the pastries and jams made by hotel owners
Closed parking garage
Feel of old hotel that is there for years - especially our kids loved it
Outside swimming pool
It was clean
Beautiful villa within easy walking distance of the centre of Orange. Astrid is a wonderful host who welcomed us on arrival and looked after us during our two night stay. We enjoyed the fresh produce at breakfast and the small pool was a fantastic place to cool down and relax after sight-seeing.
The owner was most gracious. We loved their dog! This had the real feel of France. I strongly recommend this for those who travel to Orange. Perfectly located near the train, sites, and restaurants. Owner gave us good dinner recommendations, which were greatly appreciated.
This is a budget hotel situated a short walk away from the city centre. All was as expected for Ibis, clean, efficient and in good working condition. Secure and free parking on the premises, early breakfast available from 0630 hours.
Our stay in Orange was fantastic. We enjoyed every minute of it. The hotel was comfortable and clean. Spacious and nicely decorated. And we appreciated the air conditioner too.
Very functional hotel but the best part was the caring staff. Good location I liked it that they offered a smaller, more economical breakfast option alongside the big spread.
