The apartment was spacious and comfortable.

I was surpirsed to how good this was as never stayed in a hostel but would deffo go back
Nice place and good gift shops and lovely views.
One thing which was awful was the harbour restaurant- thought we would treat ourselves to good meal as advertising in window slow cooked lamb. Overpriced and underwhelming and very rude owner. Do not waste your money here !!

We liked Nothing about the Lodge or surroundings if you are happy to have WEEDS around your lodge and DUSTBINS as a view and don't mind being behind a Hostel and Undertaker, then go for it. The lodge was not equipped for 3 audults, very small, we found 1 frying pan 1small pot, there was no brush to sweep floor, the kitchen units are dated and not fitted well. The showers were tiny. To Sum up initially looks good, but very poor on closer inspection. This is without a doubt nothing but a WORKHORSE TO MAKE as much money out of the guests who stay at this property. Whoever owns this property needs to get their act together as the 6 lodges are no more than an extension to the hostel. GIVE THIS PROPERTY A WIDE BERTH For 4 uncomfortable nights we paid just under £1200, and I do intend to take this matter further with the owner.AA.

Broadford is a boring "wide spot in the road" with little to "recommend" it. The highlight is the bus transfer station AND THE ONLY Co-Op full service grocery store...be sure and stop...few or no other choices. Keep on going...the scenery and driving on Skye are all better away from Broadford.

Beautiful location, very attractive little village, lots of places to stay and eat especially in season. Good starting point for all the trips we made over three days. Hebridean Inn best for food but Broadford Hotel worth a visit.

Broadford is well situated for a visit to Skye and also to take the wee ferry to Glenelg in the summer. It is a very small town with a couple of restaurants, a chip shop, a co-op and nice places to walk a dog by the shore.

That the place we chose, the Cottar was just the sort of cottage for us-simply furnished with not too many mod cons, making us feel that our carbon footprint wasnt too high and that the cottage reflected the beautiful natural surroundings.
The view over to Scalpay was superb. The cottage was so near the sea that we were able to launch our kayak easily and just step into the water for a swim.
When we booked this last minute, We thought the price being charged was because it was last minute / island prices / nearby festival. When actually - it was worth every penny. The room was modern, spotless, extremely comfortable and came with the most breathtaking views. But I’m all honesty - what we loved most about our stay was the amazing staff and delicious food! They could not have been more welcoming, efficient and accommodating. The next time we visit Skye - we will be booking again. Thank you for looking after us!
This was an excellent hotel! We were able to get a last minute reservation and the owner put us on a large handicap accessible room with a kitchen, dining area, bedroom and bath. Everything was quite clean and the location of the property is in a farm like area just outside of the town of Broadford. We did not get a chance to see the rest of the mansion rooms or the unique cabins, but the location was wonderful. It would have been nice to stay here for several days. Highly recommend!
I loved everything. The house was uber-clean and bright. The host had been so kind to leave some complementary food for us on the table upon arrival and the lock with the key was easy to find.
The location is also pretty strategic, as the cottage is close to Broadford, which is probably one of the biggest centres of the isle of Skye, and you can find a Co-op supermarket and a petrol station at a distance of 2 minutes by car.
I think this was our favorite guest house in 3 weeks traveling around Scotland. Sarah is the most delightful host! Breakfast was to die for, don’t miss the special porridge! The guestroom was large, the common room comfortable and roomy, with great views over the water. The perfect place to explore the Isle of Skye. She gave us recommendations for other towns we would be seeing later. Such a pleasant experience!
Such an amazing house in a wonderful location! We loved out stay there. The rooms were so cosy and comfortable and every detail was thought of. The welcome basket of bread, biscuits, eggs, fudge, milk, juice etc was so thoughtfully put together, and the views from the house were just spectacular! Perfect location to explore Skye. We were very sad to leave.
Our stay at skye was pleasant, the property has everything you need, has large common areas and the staff was really friendly. The rooms are clean and tidy, the shared bathrooms are kept in order. There is a possibility to park the car in front of the property. Overall excellent structure, I would recommend it.
the property was spacious, comfortable, and clean. the staff was also incredibly helpful- I forgot my glasses at the rental, and the staff helped assist me in getting them back. I coordinated with someone, who helped me package and ship from glasses from Broadford all the way to the US. I’m very grateful!
The breakfast was delicious and the service friendly and fast! The rooms had beautiful views of the coast (attached pictures were views from our room) and were spacious and comfortable. The hotel provided wellies so you could walk out into the marsh. My oldest son loved wading as the tide came up.
This is a very charming hotel with a beautiful view from the restaurant. Breakfast was good. The staff were so friendly, warm and welcoming! The deluxe room was spacious and pretty. It had a kettle with coffee. The bar was nice to have a drink at the end of the day.
Beautiful location beside the water. A fantastic place to unwind. We spent some days driving around Skye and others where we sat outside and enjoyed the cottage.
Eoin was very helpful with advice on where to go. It is a wonderful location.
Hotel was just about ok, old but not looked after. Good position to go around Skye and ok for a night stop and room quite spacious. We asked for a double room but got a twin. Overall very expensive for the quality.
Very friendly staff and a good location. The rooms were fine. Midges...biting bugs....but that's normal for Scotland. Nice enough breakfast for the cost. We enjoyed our stay. Beautiful view, nice building.
The House of Juniper is a very nice and well located hotel at the Isle of Skye.
The room was very stylish and comfortable. We got a tasty breakfast delivered to our room and used the sauna.
Each room has its own sink which is practical for a hostel.
The room itself was clean and sufficient for the stay.
The hostel is situated well to discover the Isle of Skye.
The property is gorgeous and the staff was the best… so friendly and kind. The room was beautiful and the bed was super comfy. Best place we stayed in Scotland.
