Hull has changed so much since my last visit and I genuinely adored my trip. The shops, bars, restaurants and sights were top notch. The marina is beautiful, the range of independent places to eat drink and shop is wonderful. The arcade and market all add to a great vibe and I can’t wait to visit again!

Never knew how much there is to do here!
Never knew how much there is to do here! We had a lovely walk into town and popped into a few of the older pubs (highly recommend Minerva, Ye Olde Black Boy and Fretwells). Was much busier than expected on Saturday afternoon! Then visited the museum quarter the next day and loved it. Will be returning to do some of the trails! Locals friendly, especially en route to and at the football ground. Only thing that could have made it better was if Hull had let us have all 3 points!

Marina area & museums excellent.
Marina area & museums excellent. Old town quite tatty & not much to see. Recommend Hull as a base with 1 day to walk around + 1 museum + 1 more for the Deep & another museum. Highly recommend beautiful Beverley for a visit

I used to study there sometime in the last century.
I used to study there sometime in the last century. It is a quirky and interesting city, not beautiful like Edinburgh or Venice but that doesn't mean there isn't a lot of beauty to be found if you take a close look.
Hull gets slagged off by people who have never been there, which is very unfair. It has a lot of history and nice architecture. And compared to most other major cities it's cheap as chips (and the chips are very good!)
Arrive there via the magnificent Humber Bridge. Visit the Ferens Art Gallery. Take in a show at Hull Truck, The New Theatre or the World Class Don Roy Theatre at the university campus. And enjoy the revitalised harbour and Old Town

In 2 days we visited the Deep, Ferens Art Gallery, and 4 museums, plus lots of great real ale pubs and a couple of good restaurants. We will revisit in 2025 for the Maritime museum, botanical gardens and the street food in be market hall which looked great and more pubs of course
Room was immense, bed was big and comfortable. The restaurant was cosy with a lovely friendly atmosphere and a decent range of food cooked beautifully. Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. We liked it so much we extended our stay
Room had a couch, ironing board, range of ambiance light setting. Warm as we visited in winter and the bathroom had every thing and again warm. City centre a walk away and given a parking permit so didn't have to leave on check out.
Close to all city centre attractions but uniquely located in marina environment. The pub has a very friendly vibe and the food is exceptional, home made specials plus usual pub favourites but of a high standard and excellent value for money. Impeccably clean and comfortable accommodation, reflected throughout the premises. We stayed for four nights (not weekend) and didn't experience any noise issues from the bar. Staff were lovely and welcoming.
Needed a hotel room near Hull and this came up as a cheap and cheerful recommendation.
Room was as expected above a pub, quite noisy but nothing a pair of earplugs didn't sort out.
Breakfast was standard fayre, the filter coffee was terrible but the staff are so friendly and cheerful.
Good meal in the pub downstairs and they offer guests 20% off
All in all it was a solid 7/10
The best thing about this hotel is that it offers free parking and is only a short walk from Hull city centre. The rooms are clean and functional and everything worked fine. We were facing the main road but weren't disturbed by the traffic noise with the windows and doors closed.
The hotel is located in city centre, opposite to a big shopping mall so it was pretty convenient. The staff was very lovely and helpful. Plenty of spaces for parking. Room was spacious and very comfy bed. Good noise and light block-out curtain. Warm and nice shower.
Loved the location, the marina is so nice with some fab places to eat and drink.
Honey’s hideaway is a fantastic house you will not be disappointed. We’ve had the best weekend. If your thinking of staying in Hull then Honey’s hideaway is where you need to stay!
Lovely hotel within easy walking distance of Hull City Centre. Especially convenient for the theatre too. Service was impeccable, rooms big and clean. Breakfast was filling and parking convenient (make sure to book in first to get the parking perrmit).
The staff were all very friendly and cheerful when asked to help. The location is ideal, being on the Marina and within easy walking distance of the centre of Hull. We appreciated having aircon as it was extremely hot during our stay
Great location and stylish accommodation in the centre of Hull right next to the Marina. This is my go to place when I am working in Hull. Always clean, really comfortable beds and great coffee left for the morning.
The property was in a great location, a few minutes walk from the marina & hull city centre.
The apartment was cleaned to a high standard and had everything you would need in a self catering accommodation.
The staff at this hotel were a credit to the company - I think the names were Paige and kerry; Amazing/Friendly and made my granddaughter feel so special . The VIK touch was a beautiful gesture .
Excellent place to stay - rooms were really nice, great pub food and friendly staff. Short walk to Humber Street (convenient for the Social) and city centre. I'd definitely stay again.
Close proximity to amenities such as St Stephens and Hull Town centre, also parking in the multistory Close to the hotel for a discounted price.
Breakfast fab.
