Green Grove Country House, hotel in Malham

This 160 year-old cottage is set on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park in Bell Busk. It offers spacious accommodations with countryside views, 7 miles from Skipton.

Excellent B&B in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. Zoe & Keith have created a beautiful B&B and we love it. Their attention to detail, exquisite breakfast, and customer service is perfect. The views from our room was gorgeous and to watch the pheasants in the back countryside was beautiful along with the stream out front. They gave us good recommendations on where to go, hikes, restaurants, and general information. This is one of the happiest B&Bs we have ever been to and it felt like home to us for six nights.

Authentic Dales village, ideal for walkers, with or without...

Authentic Dales village, ideal for walkers, with or without dogs, with two great pubs for hospitality and accommodation. A beautiful, picturesque setting, complete with flowing stream running through it. Busy and congested in high season and at weekends due to it's close proximity to Malham Cove. Village quiet in evening. Parking available for pub/inn clients and guests but can be challenging for day visitors when busy.

Enjoyed the pubs, shop, and tea room; plus the local walks. Unfortunately like much of England currently the walks suffered from the amount of litter particularly the amount of dog poo and full dog poo bags discarded in all sorts of places such as dry stone walls

    Malham is absolutely beautiful.

Malham is absolutely beautiful. I can imagine it is really busy during the summer so October was an excellent time to visit. Malham Cove is stunning and a short walk from the village. There are lots of beautiful walks right from the village. We started and ate at The Lister Arms. Highly recommend this pub. The food is fantastic and the staff very welcoming. Loved the bar woth the open log fire after a long days hiking. The fish and chips were top notch. The Moules Marinere delicious. The beds very comfortable and the rooms stylish and cosy.

Malham is a beautiful old village with fantastic walking on the doorstep. The village is extremely picturesque everywhere and Gordale Scar,Janet's Foss and Malham Cove all provide the perfect circular walk from the village that can be done easily in 2/3 hours max and each place is unique and stunning! An absolute gem ! It gets busy obviously but early mornings or late afternoons and dusk are perfect times to see these places .Dusk walking is stunning here catching the late light .Paths are all well maintained and easy to follow with fantastic signage everywhere for those who are new to the area and the landscape is ancient and very interesting.

Beck hall is a very warm and welcoming hotel in a stunning location. The walks from the property are just wonderful. It is also a fully plant based hotel, so for us it was a wonderful change to have an entire menu of food to choose from. The hotel is also the most dog friendly place you could imagine. The portions of food are absolutely massive, all were too big for me! Breakfast was a solid 10/10 too. What really made our stay special was the wonderful Linda, who is the hotels greatest asset.

Stayed overnight on a long distance walk. It's close enough to Malham and the Pennine Way goes right thru it. Perfect location. And the FOOD was WOW. Better than either of the pubs in Malham and the real ale selection was impressive. Breakfast was superb as well. Nothing to complain about here.
