As a Radisson Reward member we were actually upgraded from a standard room to a junior Suite , which is arguably the single greatest value 'perk' I've ever received from a membership program before.
Junior suite was large with a seperate living area , fridge , two TVs and some snacks they leave for you.
All in all, a flawless experience that far surpassed my expectations upon booking

City with a dated shopping centre and lots of restaurants but not much more. Cathedral and grounds, museum and Cathedral Square well worth visiting. Lots of old buildings but lots of rubbish, streets were grubby and littered!

Peterborough came across as poor and unloved. I walked through the centre of town on a Wednesday night around 10:30 and did not feel safe - not normally affected like this. There are groups of homeless people around the town, not necessarily bothering people but they need support and shouldn’t be left to roam the streets. Far more homeless here than anywhere I visited recently. This was a work visit, I would not visit for pleasure

Beautiful cathedral, nice new shopping centre. The rest of the town a bit run down, many homeless people.... We should have gone for a curry instead of having dinner at the bull.... Hotel ideally located if you haven’t got much time, 5 minutes to cathedral nly! Car park at the back of hotel convenient, too, but not easy to find

Only visit Peterborough because we have family living there. The area seems very nice, never done the tourist thing sorry. Cannot comment on Orton Hall Spa as only stay in hotel and have never used spa.

Peterborough not the best city in the world, but a few shops to mooch about it, and plenty of places to eat and drink. Mum and I took a trip to the cinema. Was nice. This hotel IS NOT in the town centre. Its a little drive. But that is what we wanted.

Cathedral area well worth a visit. Nene Park area lovely with good flat walking and nice refreshments available. Excellent pitch n putt course. Nene valley railway station at Peterborough worth a visit to eco garden area. Plus train trips. Flag fen on outskirts is definitely worth a look, really interesting and a nice walk too. Like all cities there are some less charming areas! But some good cafes in town, Gossip good coffee and Fratellis in Rivergate for coffee and breakfast. Oh and East on the river for Asian fusion food and to sit in a boat!patriciaUnited Kingdom

Due to train strike we didn't but there is plenty of parking at the hotel although at a cost of £5 for 24hrs. The hotel staff are very friendly. Wasn't changed for two soft drinks by the barman. Breakfast was served in your your room at your selected time. There was a choice of items both hot and cold. There was no seperate bar but you could get drinks from the attached restaurant. There was free car parking and the car parked was secured overnight. Its about a 10 minute walk from the main town centre.
