This is a lovely, exceptionally clean and comfortable well run hotel with friendly and helpful staff. There is attention to detail everywhere and we loved that there was even a bottle of fresh milk for tea in the fridge in our room. We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel restaurant and our food was, without any exaggeration, perfect.

Good homely Hotel. Very comfortable. Not like the clinical hotel big chains.

Close to the train station. Abt 4 mins. Then abt 25min walk to The Baths Hall Theatre. Near to a Wetherspoons pub on the way. Called the Blue Bell Inn. Lovely food & staff. Great place. Heater in the room. Plenty of buses. Near a great museum.

This is not a place to go for a pleasure trip.
This is not a place to go for a pleasure trip. We went to the Baths Hall to see a ballet and we were surprised how good the venue was. We had been a little worried as to what it would be like but we wanted to go to the ballet so took a chance! We would go to that venue again. We had dinner at The Imperial Palace Cantonese restaurant near the Baths Hall and the meal was plentiful and good. I would suggest that there is little of real interest to see in Scunthorpe.

I am originally from the Scunthorpe area (now live in West Yorks), so I am a little biased in praising it, especially as Scunthorpe is always the butt of jokes, it's not actually a bad place to stay/Live. Normanby Hall is worth a visit, and the small village of Alkborough which is 10 miles away which overlooks the Ouse and Humber and has an original Labyrinth and a cafe is worth a visit. The Humber Bridge isnt far away and also worth a visit. Scunthorpe Baths has bands/dances/turns on. There are also plenty of bars and a Wetherspoons
Beautiful room with the most amazing copper tub! We loved the spa (the milk bath was a very fun experience) and the breakfast was generous. The house and gardens were beyond expectations. We even had a great night sleep - so peaceful outside of town. Hope to come back soon!
Hotel room was extremely well furbished and furnished with excellent en-suite facilities. Staff were excellent as was breakfast in adjoining restaurant (where I also had an outstanding dinner). Extremely comfortable night, parking on site.
Lovely room. Clean and comfortable. Homely atmosphere. Tastefully decorated.
Yvette the owner is friendly and helpful.
When I travel to Scunthorpe on business Larchwood is the only hotel I stay at. I have never been disappointed.
Close to Baths Hall where our show was.
Parking spot outside our window.
Nice and clean room and friendly staff.
Good to have a full fridge, microwave and kettle in our room and the option of using the full kitchen if needed.
The room was kept very clean during my 13 night stay and the kitchen facilities made a big difference. The staff were friendly and accommodating. This hotel provides value for money and is in a good location.
Very comfortable, clean, well priced and convenient location for town centre. The manager/owner (apologies for not remembering name!) was extremely helpful to us, thanks! Highly recommended.
The location is good but the hotel doesn’t provide bewakfast as there are cafes close by. There is also a fridge, microwave and toaster available for use by customers.
The location was close to the town centre and shops, which despite some earlier reviews didn't result in any significant noise or disturbance during my stay.
