Our stay was very cozy, and we loved the warm, welcoming atmosphere of this family-run guesthouse. It is located in a relatively remote area from the city center, so having a car is recommended. We stayed in a basic room equipped with a mini fridge and air conditioning. While the room itself was simple, the breathtaking view from the balcony made our stay truly special. We spent half of our evening just soaking in the scenery!
The breakfast deserves special mention. It included fresh strawberries, apricots, jams, eggs, freshly baked bread with homemade butter, nuts, honey, Greek yogurt, and more. Everything was delicious, and the coffee was particularly nice and tasty.
The family that owns the guesthouse is incredibly sweet and friendly. They were always up for a chat and ready to help with anything we needed.

Charming village with traditional stone houses. Sample local products (local cheese called formaela, pasta, sweets, cheeses, wood products, woven rugs). Park outside of the town as only one road passes through and it's narrow. It gets crowded at night and on weekends especially during the ski season. Walking is best here!

Right in the heart of Arachova this was the coziest place I’ve ever been to! It was so comfortable. Not only did the style of the inn and rooms make you feel like never wanting to leave but the staff made you feel right at home. As soon as you enter you are welcomed by the sweet smell of cinnamon and smiling faces. It’s comfortably warm all the time but if you can, get a room with a fireplace. It will be prepared for you every day for your whole stay, all you have to do is light a match and sit cozily by the fire. It truly was a wonderful experience and I would recommend to anyone to stay at Afanos!

We ate there, we hiked nearby following suggestions of the owners. The only problem was that we only had 2 nights there. I would stay for longer if you like to hike and you appreciate nature and great food and wine.

The place is very sweet village. Nearby Delphi for the Temple of Apollo. Great restaurants and little shops. Near Galaxidi for secluded beaches too. Lived our stay at Nefeles and such lovely hosts. Great breakfast and recommendations

Picturesque alpine like village in central greece approximately 100 miles from Athens. Vibrant village centre with lots of dining and drinking establishments. A short drive up the mountain towards parnassos you come to a valley abundant with wooden chalets and a few eateries that is more reminiscent of the swiss alps or colorado rather than Greece. Definately woth a visit especially in winter.

Really lovely little town – the people were all so friendly.
Really lovely little town – the people were all so friendly. It felt like a real community and almost like a big family, where everybody knew each other and everybody was happy to meet newcomers to the town. It's easy to walk around without a car and you can get a taxi easily if you want to venture further (for example, to Delphi). Our favourite places to eat were Fterólakka (Φτερόλακκα in Greek) and Zambas (Ζάμπας) café. Try the local cheese, "formaela" – like a much tastier version of halloumi. (Zambas café did the best version of this we tried anywhere in town.) It's also well worth walking up the steps to the church at the top of the town – the view is amazing and it's so quiet and refreshing up there!
The hotel offers a splendid view, with a charming interior reminiscent of grandma's cottage. The breakfast is delicious, featuring homemade pastries. However, keep in mind that it's not a buffet-style breakfast with a wide variety of food options. Nonetheless, what they offer is tasty and homemade. The family managing the hotel is very sweet. The location is excellent, close to the village, about a 15-minute walk away. Overall, we are satisfied with the hotel and can recommend it.
This place is confusing. We thought we were reserving a suite and went to a place just out of town called White Hills. We were told that the hotel was in town. We got there and were taken to a small basic room with a teeny bathroom. It was very clean, quiet, with a nice balcony. There was no formal registration process and no one at reception-just a woman who showed us to the room. Internet was not working. The location was great and it was just adequate for one night.
This property had a spacious room with lots of homey touches. Very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was large and modern. The hotel was built into a hillside with each room facing the fantastic view of the valley below. Breathtaking. Would definitely have loved to stay longer here. The town is a fabulous find that has much to offer tourists. The breakfast was very nice, fresh and homemade with a dining area to enjoy the view as well.
We had an excellent stay at the hotel on our driving tour of the peninsula. The rooms were clean and attractive, and the views were incredible. The location was perfect, close enough to town to easily walk, and parking at the hotel was easy. The hotel manager, Stavros, was great! He was friendly, funny (great stories!), and very helpful - even offering to drive us to his favorite restaurant. Stay here when you're in town!
On the Main Street, pretty close to whatever you need in a walking distance. We were lucky enough to get a parking space outside the hotel.
Very clean room, clean towels. Fireplace was already set, we just had to light it.
Breakfast was plain but had what you need to get you started for the day, quite tasty nonetheless.
In general very satisfied with our staying and we will definitely stay again.
Everything. Our host met us at the door and sent a helpful email with suggestions on where to eat, drink and have a coffee. Central location, newly renovated room, comfortable bed and adequate space to just be comfortable. It was perfect and I would gladly stay again if we visit Arachova in the future.
Beautiful hotel in an attractive small town. Clean, comfortable, spacious room. Delicious and generous breakfast. Hotel owners were kind and intent on offering a high quality experience at very reasonable price. We stayed before the winter season when we understand Arachova is very busy.
It is a very nice apartment in Arachova, close to Delphi (15 min drive). The apartment offers all you need, in particular the breakfast including home made cakes, the quantity is more than breakfast plus lunch. The host is very friendly and helpful. The parking space is convenient.
The staff was very polite and kind, the breakfast was perfect with very good quality in all products and a nice variety to offer. The whole atmosphere in the hotel was of a cozy elegance, due to the medium/small size of the hotel and the constant care of the staff.
We had our own parking lot which is helpful in Arachova. Our room was quaint and had a neat view of the city and scenery. Located away from the center of town - it was quiet at night yet an easy walk to see everything.
I had left my iPhone charger in the room (a 35 euro device). When I contacted the hotel they have wrapped it and sent it to my location of stay in Athens (Port Alimos) immediately without any questions or charges.
The location was great. The fact that the property had a parking place was very convenient if you consider that it is located in the center of Arachova. The owners were very kind and helpful.
Beautiful place right in the heart of Arachova. The host Mrs Anna was always available to answer any questions and she also gave us great recommendations. We will definitely come back.
The staff is very nice and helpful. I could not drive in a very narrow hill road, the owner helped me to drive into his property. Also dropped off and picked us up at Arachova village.
The stuff is extremely good and polite. The room was perfect! The location was perfect as well with the village of Arachova. I will visit again this hotel for sure.
