Sahara Apartments, hotel in Kastraki Naxou

Just 50 metres from the beach of Kastraki in Naxos, Sahara Studios offers self-catered accommodation with a balcony overlooking the Aegean Sea.

Our apartment was quaint, and exactly what I thought it would be. It had a really nice vibe, and it was clean and quiet. We could prepare some of our own meals, or there is a beach club called the Blue Lagoon a short walk away, as well as a small grocery store. The staff were lovely and very friendly. We were a short walk from the beach, which is absolutely beautiful.

Thalassa Naxos, hotel in Kastraki Naxou

Thalassa Naxos is a beachfront resort 50 meters away from the biggest sandy beach on Naxos island, named Sahara which is suitable for swimming in the turquoise crystal water and 2 kilometres away from...

Excellent short vacations in a fantastic small hotel by the sea. Thalassa is located in a quiet though vivid area of Naxos at Kastraki beach. Right by the sea you can walk a hundred meters and discover one of the most unspoiled and remoted beaches of Naxos island. Our room had a fantastic view to the sea, was simple but very tastefully decorated and the hosts were experienced, friendly and gentle. Breakfast ala cart and dinner with tasteful choices, nice garden, open spaces and surroundings of the hotel give such a positive vibe. I guess the ambience of the hotel is that gives this wonderful feeling. I would recommend this hotel for all those who want to have relaxed and enjoyable holidays at a professional level.

Akti Kastraki Beach, hotel in Kastraki Naxou

Just 7 metres from the sandy Kastraki Beach, newly renovated in 2023, Cycladic-style Akti Kastraki Beach are set within a 2,500 m2 garden with stone-paved pathways and olive trees.

Athina, the owner. met us at the entrance and was immediately welcoming ... our accomodation, the bar/dining area and the whole complex is perfectly located. That said, the location is perfect if you want a remote, beautiful and relaxing place to stay. If you want bars, nightlife and shopping you're in the wrong place. We just wanted to swim, drink local wine and eat local food ... Akti Kastraki provided this to an exceptional level

Kastraki is the most windy beach of Naxos : it is excellent for kite or windsurfing but not for resting on the beach to read. Surroundings are quite with some restaurants and small supermarkets. You need a car if you stay at Kastriki.

When I arrived on the terrace was an old bucket with old cleaning water, broom sticks all over the place and beneath at the bottom.od the stairs it was like a trash. There was an unpleasant odeur when I arrived. Also the fridge was washed with old cleansing water, as it was really stinking. No bathroom towels, no kitchen basics like a pan or hardly cutlery. I had to request all a couple of times. Then I was requested to leave the room unthough I had made a reservation for a longer time; all together around 3 weeks!! I should suppose that I'm the best guest with such a long reservation, but I felt treated in the cleaningness and availability of the basics in the room like the worst! Only Maria tried her best to handle this chaos well, but it was not her fault, she was just left with the results of a lack of love of service and cleaningness and had to handle all my complaints at the desk. But it's not her fault. It felt like because it's the cheapest accommodation they can do whatever they like. But it's not a 20 euro accommodation but 50-70. For this price you expect that the host does his basics, but he didn't. It feels like a money machine. There's just the energy of they just don't care. And you have to ask for everything to get solved. Yes the view is spectacular, but the hospitality and having the feeling that people are trying to to their best is absent..also around the villas there was mess everywhere. Because I was the first guest? This can't be. Worst customer care ever (not because of Maria that does the reception, as she has to handle this mess) but because how the property and me as a guest was received. Literally with a garbage mess in front of my studio and terrace. It took two days before they came to clean in

We stayed 5 days in Naxos at the Kastraki Dunes Resort.

We stayed 5 days in Naxos at the Kastraki Dunes Resort. We went around the island and we were so glad the we picked Kastraki Dunes to stay. Definitely the best place to stay on the island if you like the beach and rest. The hostess and host were magnificent and even helped with the car rent that was delivered to the resort. 100% recomend Kastraki and Kastraki Dunes to stay in Naxos!

Fabulous beaches and great restaurants. A really relaxing atmosphere - not too busy at the time we went. Close proximity to Naxos town and other places of interest. Recommend hiring a car and it is easy to get around.

    Our stay here was perfect.

Our stay here was perfect. Our hosts were incredibly kind, helpful and genuine. They made us feel so welcome and like we were their 'special' guests. The ladies cooked wonderful home-made dishes every evening and Nikos makes a mean G&T too! The accommodation is spotlessly clean and tidy and perfectly comfy. The setting around Kastraki Naxou is incredibly peaceful and calm; the grounds are beautifully maintained and the views to the sea are therapeutic. The trip down to the nearest beach isn't the prettiest, but we walked there most days and it's worth every step to what we think is the best beach on Naxos!

Our room was very comfortable. The bed was good and the balcony was nice. The whole place was clean and service worked well. The staff was super helpful and friendly. And the pool area was superb! Furthermore, buffet breakfast was abundant, versatile and tasty. We arrived from crowded and busy Santorini and Kastraki area was so much better: peaceful, simple, beautiful beaches and good value for money. The best spot during our island hopping holiday.

Eleni is a fantastic host! she really went the extra mile to help us enjoy our stay. the hotel is very small and doesn’t have a pool. however, the nicest beach of our entire trip to Greece is found a few hundred meters directly down the lane from the hotel. the hotel offers parasols and beach chairs to guests and there is a fantastic taberna for meals right on the beach

I really enjoyed my stay at Vythos. Konstantina was lovely and very helpful, the surroundings of the studio are beautiful, if you are looking for a less crowded part of Naxos and beautiful wild beaches. There are some taverns around and a bus stop nearby, so although of course it's always easier to have a car available, it's also possible by bus and walking a lot.

Scala Apartments is a lovely family hotel, the best ever we've tried around Greece. We wanted a calm and quiet place without noise, and that really was it. Beautiful garden with full of flowers and chilling places, tiny room with comfortable bed, a terrace with see view. Very kind people, excellent breakfast and dinner (also with homemade things).

Stelios is an incredibly nice and friendly host. He and his family cared for us perfectly. The apartment is very close to beaches, a small supermarket, restaurants and a bus station. But the area is not as busy and overcrowded as the beaches and villages north of Kastraki. Perfect for us!

Perfect if you seek a quiet location. Kastraki is ideal for that and also only 20-25min from Naxos city center. Also there are some fantastic beaches really close by. Rooms are really cozy combining traditional with modern vibes. Staff is exceptional, I really enjoyed my stay there.
