The hospitality overall was superb. Particularly enjoyed the special breakfasts with pastry, fresh juices, fruits and expresso. To meet and interact with lovely owners personally was a wonderful blessing. When help was needed with finding transportation, we had a perfect solution in minutes!

My room was large with lots of outlets. It had a Jacuzzi tub which was wonderful. The first time I had trouble turning it on and a lovely woman from the front desk came to my room to help. The breakfast buffet had a nice variety of food and a sweet server who made my espresso a doppio . The recommended parking lot was a two minute walk to the hotel. And having a lift was a treat. I would definitely stay there again.

The location was fantastic, a couple of minutes walk from the main streets and piazza. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was a good size, really clean upon arrival and cleaned every day too.

Eine wundervolle Unterkunft. Es war unbeschreiblich schön!
Volterra is a little jewel on top of. steep hill. The town hosts remnants from Etruscan ages, Roman ages, and the Middle Ages, all in a walking distance.
The surrounding areas are hilly and very green.

The villa was a wonderful place to stay!
The villa was a wonderful place to stay! The building was built in the 15th century but has all the modern amenities. Our host/owner Luca was so accommodating in every way. His staff prepared a delicious breakfast each morning with many varieties of local cuisine. He had even prepared a map and detailed itinerary for several day trips if we wanted to explore the surrounding towns and other sights. This hotel was an excellent find.

not the most interesting of fortified hill top towns, but nice enough. Not an awful lot too see apart from the stunning views and the inevitable torture museum which we came across in three other locations

Volterra is a beautiful historic town and walking around the narrow streets feels like stepping back several centuries in time. Walking around the traffic free central area was a pleasure. We visited several historic buildings including the beautiful cathedral. Also some excellent museums with great collections and works of art. There are many lovely restaurants and cafes too which make Volterra well worth a visit.

Beautiful location. Stunning views. Amazing garden and pool area. The most fabulous breakfast 😊
On our touring trip we stayed in 6 different hotels, the breakfast and ambiance of this hotel was by far the best.. I would highly recommend you book a stay with Luca ..
The owner (Luca) drove us up to the town, making two trips (as 7 in our group) and came back after dinner for us.. He refused payment..amazing service 😀
The villa is located about ~15 minute drive from old town Volterra with a huge garden around it. The apartment we stayed in was very nice with a small kitchenette and shaded outside seating as well. There is parking at the location. It is very well situated to explore Volterra and the surrounding area or just to spend a day or two chilling in the garden or at the pool.
This agiturismo is immersed in the Tuscany countryside, with a breathtaking view of the surrounding hills. It is very close to the city of Volterra and many services, including a supermarket. It features a swimming pool as well as many tables to eat your meals outside. There is ample parking space. The host is very nice. The apartments are well equipped and spacious.
This is one of the - if not THE best accomodations in the Tuscan countryside. The spaceous and huge villa with the large and clean pool are on top of a hill with a view to Volterra on the one side and a surrounding view over the typical hills all around. If you are there, you must not miss the fabulous dinner made by the extremely kind hosts, Paola and Alessandro.
A lovely location to access Volterra, San Gimignano and Colle di Val d'Elsa - giving options for food as there is nothing on the doorstep.
The roads, despite windy, are very good condition.
A very clean accommodation, in a beautiful, quiet area. Rolling hills as a wake-up view.
A big bathroom that has been very nicely refurbished.
The breakfasts were lovely, complete with homemade cakes. Claudia is wonderful, kind, helpful and incredibly knowledgeable. And her Mom is so sweet. The property is stunning with beautiful views a great wines. We couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. And it was a great base to discover Volterra and San Gimignano from.
The hotel is located in a historic building, in the center of the village. Tastefully and comfortably furnished. The room facing the courtyard is quiet. In the inner courtyard a small pool. Breakfast was good. Large selection of sweet dishes. There was no problem with storing the bikes and charging the battery.
Impeccable. Not your average stay in agriturismo. Ivana, Claudia and Genuino are professional hosts with long experience, Podere Marcampo could be considered a boutique hotel, with excellent rooms and facilities, good breakfast with breathtaking view, all in an outstanding location a few minutes from Volterra.
Location relative to Volterra Centro Storico. Great host, accommodations had enclosed area for car, private terrace and entrance, beautiful view of the pool and surrounding area and this unit had a washing machine which was perfect. Also, great little places nearby to grab a bite.
Very clean, silent and large room (superior room booked). Breakfast was also very good with many choices. Hotel is at the beginning of the center, so just less than 5 minutes to place dei priori. We will book this hotel again when we come back to Volterra again.
The location is great, beautiful scenery, very clean. The hosts are kind and helpful, they even allowed our friends’s camper on their parking lot near the hotel part so that we could spend more time together. The views from those terraces are just breathtaking.
Beautiful location close to Volterra. Everyone was so nice and we felt like special guests of the family. Great restaurant on site (wild boar pasta!) and delicious breakfast. Definitely an authentic Tuscany experience off the beaten tourist path.
Very comfortable bed. Great location if driving as you don’t have to navigate the very tricky and complex narrow/steep streets of old Volterra. Very helpful staff and we appreciated being able to leave our car parked at the hotel after checkout.
Beautifully quaint hotel, located in the Volterra countryside. The staff extends themselves above and beyond...
And the rooms/facilities are impeccably clean.
Within walking distance of Volterra historic city.N
this is a very charming boutique hotel that is operated by its owner, who is so incredibly helpful. the rooms were quaint, the breakfast delicious and home made, and the location is excellent.
fantastic hotel in the heart of Volterra, very pleasant stay in this historic hotel, breakfast was one of the best I have seen for quality and variety, well worth a visit to this hotel
Staff (Anna) was outstanding with her help. Check-in was easy and she helped with our bags to our room. Good directions on bringing our car to the hotel to unload.
