I can't talk about location as we were brought here after a hike and picked up the next day, but we really enjoyed our stay as the hotel has a wonderful view from the side of the valley all the way over Imlil. My friend and I had a double room each and both had balconies. The staff were helpful. Great value for money.

We loved our stay at the Riad. We stayed there for two nights, before and after our hike to Mt Toubkal. The owners are very friendly and make you feel at home. Very tasty breakfast and dinner, amazing view from the terrace, very nice rooms with all the amenities one needs (especially the hot water was very nice after the hike ;)). Also, Parking is close by, and the staff helps with the luggage to get to the riad.

The food is nice, the view is beatiful and the interior design is atmospheric - I would recommend this place! If you are a solo traveler it is not a social environment, but I still had a good experience. One of the people working at the riad took me on a very nice hike which I really enjoyed.

What , I like the most is the location of this place the Valley is surrounded by tiny villages located it on the cliffs of the mountains therefore we pick Arghare Village , the views where spectacular! Also the decor in the place amazing 🤩!! We had a small vehicle 🚗, my husband drove up it was a bit challenging , just take your time is part of the journey:) Said came right away and meet us. To make it easier. The next day I walk to the main village Imlil , cascades , like 25 minutes walk , everyone is nice 😊

Best place to plan to climb Jebel Toubkal (4160 m) – Morocco’s and North Africa’s highest mountain. Not only Toubkal but many other day trips and hikes can take place from Imlil including visiting Berber villages, with guides who can be hired locally with many different types of trips to meet your needs, horse, donkey or bicycle its all on offer. Note no local ATM machines so take enough cash or be prepared for a short trip to Ansi. Wherever you travel the views are inspiring.

excellent hideaway from the heat of Marrakesh.
excellent hideaway from the heat of Marrakesh.
Zarathustra restaurant cooked us a fantastic dinner, for the right price. We has a look to their rooms, and other that there was no air-con at the time, the style, price and size were very nice. Some of the rooms had shared bathroom.
We did not find good restaurants in Imlil other than the above, though we did not check other hotels and riads. there are some local restaurants that were ok, very local....

Even if you aren’t planning to hike Toubkal, I would 100% suggest Imlil for a quiet weekend to get away from the bustle and bustle of Marrakech. In my two trips to Morocco, I’ve visited Imlil three times, once for a day, once for several days on my second trip just to relax with no plans of hiking Toubkal, and then I returned with friends to hike Toubkal.
My experience with the people of Imlil is that they are genuinely welcoming and kindhearted, not just pretending to be because you’re a tourist with money, as I’ve experienced in other cities. The prices of things are also typically better than in Marrakech overall, although they are still geared towards tourists.
Despite being a few different settlements, Imlil is a small village where everyone knows each other and is happy to help you find what you’re looking for. There are plenty of guides for a day hike or for hiking Toubkal, and whatever lodging you stay at can usually help you find someone to guide you.
Overall, Imlil is my favorite place in Morocco, and coming here feels like returning home.
This was one of the most amazing stays in my whole Morocco trip! The lodge is in an amazing location, close to the start of the hiking trail. The atmosphere in the lodge is welcoming, it is clean and cozy. But the most important I would like to say thank you to Hassan, he made my stay very comfortable, feeling like at home! I think he is doing an amazing job and it really feels he is doing this from his heart. I highly recommend this lodge for short or long stay. I wish I could stay longer here!
Hotel Ghazal is fantastic, having one of the most stunning views from a hotel room I've ever seen. It's so great that when you arrive, you're greeted with a cup of tea with amazing view in Imlil valley. Great ambiance and excellent service. This hotel with restaurant is one of my favorites, and they serve the largest piece of cuscus I've ever seen in Morocco. Thank you very much.
Abdullah is a great host. Vert attentive and always there for a conversation about Moroccan culture, society, and local hiking routes. He was very kind, and always extremely happy to help. He was truly a great host. The location was superb and Imlil is a beautiful "authentic" Berber village. The terrace is the highlight of the property, with stunning views through the valley.
When we arrived at Dar Imlil...we were blown away by the beauty of everywhere and greeted with such warmth at the Hotel. They made us a fresh cooked lunch at short notice and it was the best lunch we had in our whole stay in Morocco! Fabulous! Incredibly generous hosting there. Really near to the trekking place if you want to trek with guides. Beautiful scenery.
The location is great, the staff is amazingly nice with great hospitality and berber spirit.
Value for money !! This is not a deluxe Riad or hotel but the cleanliness the ambience and the amazing view to the valley are breath taking.
We had diner there. though not too much choice, my wife said it is the best Tajine and super tasty soup we had in Morocco.
First things first, the view is breathtaking. Secondly the authenticity is unparalleled. We loved the whole stay, authentic dinner, wonderful breakfast, a rooster waking us up early in the morning. It was truly fantastic. Additionally the path to Imlil is through a mountain trail walked by the locals, so that's a big bonus
We made 5 days Morocco trip with Imlil Atlas trekking and Toubkal trip for 2 days. Our mountains guides was helpful and we had great accommodation in hotel. We found meals to be very good. Sunset views from our room was spectacular and you will meet friendly people at every corner in Aroumd and also Imlil. Thank you.
Great view over Imlil - hence the accomodation's name. Speaking either French or English, the family provides a first-hand welcoming experience. Added bonus: possibility to stash a bag for a few days when trekking around (btw, owner also has a trekking agency downtown so can provide planning on arrival)
The hotel was amazingly quite and clean, affordable and very accessible as it is located in the heart of the village. The food was delicious and had a great variety of options. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and attentive. I would gladly come and visit next time.
Very spacious rooftop terrace for relaxing in the sun after a hike. Staff was very helpful with recommending/explaining some (unguided) hiking trips in the area. We had dinner in the hotel as well, which was one of the best tagines we had in our holiday. Very affordable pricing. Good shower.
Our walks in the Imlil Valley with our guide Hassan were a highlight of our trip. Hassan tailored hikes to meet the needs of our group and we learned so much about the history and life of the Berber people in the valley. For those more adventurous, he also leads hikes up Mount Toubkal.
I’m really not happy with you of the hotel maxilla
don’t u think that you should tell people it’s not easy to get there !

Toubkal Garden Is Magical Place To Stay In Atlas Mountains
The view of the hotel is just incredible! The hosts are also really helpful and gave us everything we need. The room is spacious with air-conditioning, plus a balcony. I would highly recommend it for staying in Imlil
Best hosts in Morocco. They can help you with everything you need while staying in Imlil. Said arranged us an awesome guide Ahmad for Toubkal. Not to mention awesome food and amazing view from the roof terrace... I would recommend everyone to stay at Atlas Imoula.
This is a beautiful hotel, in a lovely landscape. It is out of the hustle of Imlil. Muhammed and Hassan could not be more accommodating. Nights are absolutely silent and the walking and views are excellent. We loved it here and would like to return.
A lovely hotel right in the middle of where you'd need to be, if you wanted to do camping/outdoor activities. The staff was SO nice. The facility was nice. Everything was great. Zero complaints. Would absolutely stay again!
The view of the hotel is just incredible! The hosts are also really helpful and gave us everything we need. The room is spacious with air-conditioning, plus a balcony. I would highly recommend it for staying in Imlil.
The location was incredible and has an amazing view of Imlil and the valley.
The staff was very accommodating, even making breakfast early when we needed to catch a taxi early the day we left.
This little Gite is run by a very knowledgeable and helpful licensed guide. The rooms are simple but this is not a luxury hotel. It is a cozy place to have easy access to Imlil.
A family run hostel with stunning views set in Imlil that is beautifully decorated, comfy beds, delicious breakfast and just a true delight to have stayed at.
