Floreida and the other lady at reception went out of their way to help me when a medical condition I had flared up.
There was no ice but Floreida and her colleague went out of their way to help me.
The receptionist ensured I had a room to change in, even though I had checked out.
The receptionist team were very pleasant. I didn't see much of the other staff as restaurant timings seem a little restricted. Would have been great to grab a sandwich when feeling hungry but restaurant times were quite rigid.
The room was also lovely and spacious. Loved moments on the balcony looking out to the sea.

The Hotel was clean, and the facilities were always cleaned and prepared each day, Indoor pool, Sauna Jacuzzi etc,.
Breakfast was good with various options to choose from each day. The hotel was very accessible to the buses, and local amenities. I was able to visit quite a few places by taking a bus, which was reasonably priced. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, nothing seemed too much. In particular, Rouselle and Eunice, but they were on duty for most of my stay, and to be fair all other staff I came into contact with were just as welcoming and helpful.

Love the area, great restaurants (Wagu was our favourite). Theres so much to see and do without the hustle of tourists. Took a 10 min taxi to Golden Bay beach for a hike, you are pretty central to everything. Lovely shops and definitely take a stroll to Sea View Cafe, stunning views with good food and a happy hour.

It’s a quiet town with a reasonable amount of pubs and restaurants. It’s a good base to stay but we went to different places each day. There isn’t enough to keep you busy for a full week if you like to do things on holidays.

We went in the off season (mid April) so the area was quiet and it was easy to get a restaurant, although on the other hand many restaurants were very dead with only 1 or 2 groups inside. The weather was good although very windy, good enough to sit on the beach but not sunbathe or swim. The town was very pretty, it's nice to take a walk up the hill and see the views and older buildings.
We would recommend Blu Club, Amami, and the mellieha heights area at the top of the hill.

Mellieha is a beautiful calm and small town which makes it perfect if you want to avoid crowded cities with a lot of traffic and mass tourism. Climb up the hill and you'll have a fantastic sight onto the bay nearby. the upper town has also beautiful narrow streets and typical houses to see. Not that easy to travel in Malta in general, due to some public transport issues. If I went again, I would avoid long displacements across the island, I would just visit the places nearby. If you are in the northern part and want to have a dayout to the southern Malta, it make take you 4-5 hours go/back with public transport. To avoid the stress and the frustration, stay and visit the places nearby. It's a good excuse to go again and visit the places you missed before!!

Labrsnda Hotel is outside of Mellieha Bay, very vl9se to the ferry port to Gozo; and there are no restaurants or bars nearby. So full board is recommended unless you get a bus, vtaxi or walk to Mellieha Bay which is bustling and it has a lovely sandy beach.
Please note that now on HB, no drinks are included. They were in 2023: local beer, wine and water. We stayed in March 2023 on HB and booked again for March 24; but were not informed of these changes until the first night at dinner when we received a drinks bill.
The green room compensation scheme has also changed: no 'free' ocktails per day per room. Seems to have been a change over "free" alcohol options (although you could've opted for a mocktail previously.)
Drinks are now only available on fully inclusive. However, at the time if booking for us via booking. Com , no all incl was available; neither were we offered an upgrade at reception upon checking in; nor a change in their HB services. So, a cautionary note when booking.

Mellieha is a small town with not a lot to do or see except the supurb WW2 tunnels used as air raid shelters. Also a couple of churches. The Christmas market was on in the square when we were there, which was interesting.
The bus network is fabulous and it is easy to get to anywhere on the island or to the ferry port for Gozo. I recomment the Talinja card for discounted travel.
Very nice house with an exceptional living room and a very comfy bed, located in central Mellieha and not far from the best beach in Malta!!!(Ghadira Bay) And of course, a very helpful host and obsessed with the cleaning - so yes, each corner of the house is spotlessly clean! I cannot recommend it more if you want to stay on the beach and be able to visit the whole island(s) at the same time - Malta has one of the best BUS systems(I've seen so far) and there are hundreds of BUSes a day from and to Mellieha(not exaggerating)
My wife and I have stayed in other stars branch hotels in Malta for a few days before we extend the trip a bit longer.. I think staying in a private holiday apartment is a much better choice than hotel resorts. It is much cheaper and you have a lot more privacy and get to know locals better. This is not something you can do if you stay in fancy resorts. Amazing seafront view, spacious areas, well-equipped with everything you need, quiet location. Surely recommend it to friends and family next time they go to Malta.
Such an amazing long weekend break at LURE Hotel and Spa ⛲✨🇲🇹 The owner and staff went above and beyond the entire weekend - never had better hospitality in Malta 💜 Absolutely top notch. Boutique, stylish, personable, ultra modern rooms, beautiful spa/treatments and overall experience. Highly recommend a visit (and check out their restaurant The Core Restaurant and Lounge and nearby Commando Restaurant 👌) Massive thanks to Alexandra, Mayssa, Jelena, and ofc Malcolm 💜 See you again soon 🤗🥂
Great room with an amazing view of the sea & pool area - very spacious & clean, with daily housekeeping. The food was good with plenty of choice for breakfast & evening meal. All staff seemed to work hard & were always friendly & helpful. Hotel is right next to the ferry terminal for Gozo & you can get trips to the Blue Lagoon from there. Buses stop right outside so there's easy access to other parts of Malta including Valletta & Mdina. Hotel had a nice feel & we enjoyed our stay.
We were staying in another property 20 minutes away which was awfull, i went on and booked this room to get out of the place! This hotel is amazing even the scent walking the corridors. The pool was fabulous and so warm. We ate in la ponte which was delicious. The lady who checked us in was so nice and friendly! When we return to malta this will be our number one hotel to book! I work in a hotel here in Ireland and recomended your hotel to all my coleagues here!
Apartment had been really huge, well equiped, modern and hot tube on the balcony really clean and preperaded to be used with 35degres of celsius hot water, amazing for relax. At arrivel we have found nice welcome surprise like fresh strawberries in fridge, bottle of wine, water & biscuits. Dedicated parking space in garage. Accomodation is bigger as expected. We will likely come again to this apartment when visit Malta next time. Highly recommended.
Nice spacious room with a pretty sea view. The pool offered entertainment, which was fun. Plenty of seating around the pool. Hotel was nice and clean. The food was great and the buffet theme changed nightly. The spa was great and very reasonable prices. The hotel partners with a local beach club and you can go there to lay on the loungers in the sand. Perfect location for taking a boat over to blue lagoon and around comino island
The host came to meet us at the property to explain everything in the apartment. Since most of the appliances are European it was very helpful to a Canadian visiting! Everything you could possibly need for your stay, Tony has such as a beach umbrellas, containers for food, a cooler, beach towels, water in the fridge, and much more. He also had a lot of recommendations of things to do in the area and rest of Malta.
The hotel is located at the north of the main Malta Island right next to a beach which is beautiful. We went there for our baby moon, so my wife was pregnant and the hotel says that it has its own convenience store to buy water or snacks but it was always closed, there was not any convenience store or anything close either. The breakfast is very good and the staff of the hotel is very kind.
For the price & the fact that this is a 3 star hotel, we absolutely loved it. The staff are friendly and helpful, the hotel has a pool which we didnt end up swimming in because of windy weather. The location is perfect with just five minutes to the bus stop. Our room has a seaview which was just stunning. I would definately choose this hotel again when visiting Malta🫶🏼
LOCATION! Amusing corner on sea side with great view to mountains and sea. Family 3 bedroom suite was excellent. Very smiling and friendly staff. Special thanks to the host gentleman at the entrance to the restaurant while breakfast. Breakfast is various and tasty. Parking was very easy right at the entrance to the hotel. We liked cuisine in Indian restaurant.
The location of the hotel near the beautiful bay and near the bus stop ( bus 222 direct to Sliema and 42 direct to Valletta). Also, the amenities, the heated swimming pool , the jacuzzi, and sauna. Also, the cave bar on the fourth floor over a menu of very good prices. The persons working in the hotel are friendly.
The building is really good, the room and the view from there amazing. The customer service 100/10, Cristina helped me a lot giving me pieces of advice of how to get to popular places in Malta, gave me a map saying where to eat, walk, bus stop etc, she makes you feel at home, she’s a really really a good host.
The hotel’s location was really good, very closed to Mellieha Bay, there was a bua stop right in front of the hotel where almost all busses stops. It was quite clean. The stuff was very kind and helpful, Ana helped us quickly to upgrade our room <3
Very nice Hotel, great location, all necessities nearby like bus station, restaurants and beach.
The staff was very polite and helpful especially Martin, a great man with a big heart ♥!
We felt very good and definitely recommend the place.
Everything was nice. Me and my boyfriend enjoyed our stay at the Solana Hotel. It was one of the best hotels we visited in Malta. All staff are nice and polite. I recommend the hotel to everyone 😀
Luna is one of our favorite hotels in Malta. Reasons being the cleanliness, the location, the friendliness of the staff. We always feel welcome there and we are guaranteed a very pleasant stay.
The 2 pools were nice and clean and the location of Luna was good. Easy parking outside the complex. Handy to have a mini market and diving centre beside the hotel.
Great hôtel with a wonderful view on the Ghadira Bay.
The staff is really nice and always eager to help
If I come back to Mellieha, I would stay at this hotel again
