Excellent hosts. Very comfortable beds. Very good wiFi connection. Great loation to easily get to the main tourist attractions in the area, namely the Caves and Castle. We were able to park right at the accommodation which was useful as it rained most of the 2 days we were there.

Close proximity to the caves a few kms away! Near to shops and services! Parking on site.
Utensils meant we could prepare a picnic!
The accommodation was clean and comfy! We stayed 2 nights and it was ideal for our needs! It is on a main road but we were to the back so not disturb at all!

We loved the area, away from the crowd.
We loved the area, away from the crowd. It was quiet and relaxing, just what we needed. We stayed in one of many huts which had all you need for the stay. The camp has playgrounds and places like swimming pool where you can relax too. We didn't get to use the swimming pool as it was open only hours when we were out and about ,away from the camp. Kitchen could do with some extra utensils bits, like bigger cups, kettle, knives, wooden spoons. The restaurant is placed at the top of one of the larger cave with a beautiful view and they have a very good selection of food. It is a short walk from the camp to Postojna caves through the woods 3km, (by shortcut, not on the road).Definitely a nice place for outdoor lovers, biking or hiking. It would be nice if there was a camp fire pit, we didn't ask to be honest, so maybe we have not seen it. To sum up - we like the place a lot and we would come back.

The cave is an unmissable experience, but the town itself is also very atmospheric for a short walk. Main squere and the church is very nice. We tried Mal'ca Kebab restaurant and Pizzeria Cuk. Both were very good with solid prices.TamásHungary - 10Scored 10
What a secret gem!
What a secret gem! We stumbled upon Postojna by accident and we are so glad we did. Slovenia is beautiful and the people here are wonderful. The food is amazing and the cave tour was by far one of the best excursions I have ever done.NicoleUnited States - 8.0Scored 8.0
From Centre you can walk to the spectacular caves.
From Centre you can walk to the spectacular caves. There are also many walks around the countryside (riverside walks and woodland walks.) There are supermarkets to stock up on essentials....Tuc supermarket has a good bakery too. The cafe in the central square is very pleasant and has a good selection of ice cream. There were two major attractions, the Postojna cave and Predjama castle, I recommend both. We were looking for a traditional Slovenian restaurant, but didn't find one nearby (or at least it's not on google).

Magnificent huge cave; nice train trip inside. Plenty to watch, sadly the guide offered a fast forward tour, the cave was packed with people, you didn’t have time to see or take pictures. They should restrict number of people allowed/tour or time visit when extremely crowded. There are time admissions which you can reserve, but they are useless because they also accept direct bookings on spot ☹AlexandraRomania

We made use of the electric kettle in the room to prepare our evening tea. The whole place was perfectly clean. A shared fridge was available in the hall. We liked the position - it was easy to find and the owner was expecting us and showed us everything despite our late arrival. We will definitely use this guest house in future again - maybe not only for one night stay (nearby Postojna cave and Predjama castle visit - both excellent sites).

We stayed just for one night on our way to Postojna Cave and the Castle. Location is very convenient if you want to explore those attractions. The room was big, very clean and comfortable. Bathroom brand new. The Host, Alenka was super nice. She even brought delicious pancakes for us in the early morning. Parking is available which is very convenient. They provided a map and lots of recommendations. Be aware that City Tax is payed once at the property so please bring some cash.
