I wanted to share my fantastic experience at Mae Rim Grace with you. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the breakfasts were perfect.
The rainforest villa was also spotlessly clean and tidy.
If you are thinking about planning a big family holiday, I can definitely vote for Mae Rim Grace as a fantastic destination.

Loved all the activities we did, kayaking, caving, white water rafting, Thai boxing, zip line and elephant sanctuary. Our hosts were excellent at ensuring we either got picked up by the activity hosts or providing a driver to get us where we wanted to go. We should have ensured that we were there for a weekend as the best Chiang Mai markets appear to be at the weekend. The night market was okay for souvenirs but I wouldn't recommend the food options.

The Mae Rim area is a beautiful mountainous area located north of Chiang Mai. There is a lot to do in the area like waterfalls, botanic garden, ziplines, ATV trips, visits to elephant parks, but also a nice teak wood palace and tempel.
Large rooms, great hot shower, places to sit, nice pool. It is like living in a garden. There are tall trees, birds, shade and very pleasant. This resort has limited capacity so it will never be crowded. The hosts respect your privacy. The rooms were cleaned and prepared every day. The location is excellent for visiting the local attractions. We stayed during Covid restrictions and national holidays, and yet we still found nice cafes and activities to fill our days. You own transportation will make this convenient.
Lovely location away from the bustle of Chiang Mai city. We rented a car and drove up. Location was beautiful with only the sounds of nature and the waterfall on the property. There are flocks of birds, ducks and peacocks that have made this place their home which makes it a super serene environment. Breakfast was a generous spread of either Western or Asian options. The staff were always greeting us with big smiles and super helpful when we needed assistance.
The staff were exceptional, so welcoming and friendly. The decor throughout the whole hotel was beautiful and the rooms were so spacious. The food was also fantastic. The location was slightly out of the way from Chiang Mai centre however there were popular attractions nearby so depending on what you want to do here that doesn’t need to be a problem at all. Also a Grab to the city is cheap if you don’t have a motorbike/car.
A rare small resort with beautifully designed ‘cottages’ in the most exquisite orchid garden. This is a very relaxed place. It has a good restaurant, is run by a delightful small group who care for it passionately, and is perfectly situated for a touring this lovely hilly area of the Chiang Mai region. The pool is large and salt water, set among the trees. It is a real retreat living up to every expectation.
Pak Ram is really a fantastic escape from Chiang Mai. It's not far away yet it feels like you are entering a different world. It's quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was excellent and the room was just so comfortable. The bed was soft and fluffy like a big cloud.
They left bath bombs for the bath tub (at no extra cost) which was a nice touch!
I stayed at Gudi for 16 nights during my family visit. The hotel was quiet and relaxing. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The location was convenient, not far from the main street, with easy parking just in front of the hotel. The room was spacious, comfy, and stylish. Breakfast was a plus.
The hotel is one of the best I ever been in!! The size of the room was gigantic!!! The garden was unbelievable beautiful, clean, well maintained!! It was perfect!! I have been in 5 star hotels over the world and this is the best I have been in!!!
Everything you need is at this resort. There’s all kinds of activities, shuttles to nearby attractions, classes onsite, spa, etc. Literally everything you need.
The food is fantastic and the staff is ever so kind and get to know you.
Very comfortable and peaceful. The villas are totally private. Beautiful nature surroundings, big pool, comfortable bed, nice shower and products. Luxury place. Staff is friendly. I didn’t drive and they offer to call a taxi.
I loved the pool, of course, it's just beautiful - especially because the water is a bit cooler than the air. Breakfast was also lovely, great open air restaurant with a surround view of the valley. Super friendly staff.
A very nice hotel in a big property with various buildings and houses, lots of trees and greenery and the mountains. Every room is different, but all have a great view. Very friendly manager and staff.
Very hospitable and friendly owner who went out of his way to drive us around the mountain. Environment in the hotel is good, blended into the greeneries in the surrounding. Relaxing place to chill.
The breakfasts were great, you had a choice of Thai but could add eggs etc. The hotel itself was awesome, room was superb, lots of room place to unpack, beautifully laid out, actually just perfect.
Love Everything about this place, nice and spacious Thai traditional accommodation, peaceful, super friendly hosts P’A and N Jeab. Thank you for my wonderful and fully-recharged stay.
