The location is more than perfect for shopping. Everything is available in the neighborhood and at walking distance being in the Nishantashi quarter. The metro station is at the hotel door. A dozen of bus lines are also at 100-300 m. We did not use taxis at all. If you know how to use the public transport you can reach any place in Istanbul from the hotel.
