I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to talk about this lovely place and amazing stay. Location was perfect, the house was super comfortable, in perfect condition and spotless. Hopefully we’ll be back !! Absolutely recommended.

The place had Tesla fast charging stations.
The place had Tesla fast charging stations. The property was old but clean. The carpet could use a deep clean. The room had a balcony with a table and some chairs great for drinking with friends or just hang out and relax while looking out the river.
The room was really big and spacious with a ref, stove top, coffee maker and some cooking and serving utensils.
Actually the property was decent but with no cellular coverage (Tmobile), wifi should have been readily available. Here you have to pay through a 3rd party. Sad! So it’s not great for virtual meetings and stuff.

The location and staff were excellent!!
The location and staff were excellent!! The room was clean, the amenities were great as well, the only problem was our TV. Maintenance couldn’t fix it so they gave us the internet for the TV the first night to remedy the situation which was amazing but not the second night which put a damper on things with no Tv to relax the second night.

The hotel location was good and near to Yosemite.
The hotel location was good and near to Yosemite. The room was good. The Pizza restaurant was good.
We didn't like having to book room service (towels etc and coffee for room) on a daily basis. In our opinion is a throwback to Covid pandemic days, as a management policy to save money not support the customer.

Close to Yosemite park entrance, just a short drive.
Close to Yosemite park entrance, just a short drive. Mildly wild river behind the hotel is great. We ate mostly in Yosemite park (very nice dinner at Yosemite Valley Lodge Mountain Dining Room and a great lunch at Ahwahnee hotel bar).

Stunning location with great views.
Stunning location with great views. Times quoted for fitness room and swimming opening did not happen. Rooms spacious with good facilities but all looked rather shabby and dated. Rooms need a makeover. Balcony view was amazing.
The apartment was spacious and had a small kitchenette with a small refrigerator and 2 hotplates. The bed was very comfortable. You could use different pools and whirlpools until 10:00 in the evening. For a total of about $4, you could do your own laundry (you have to bring detergent!) and use a dryer. Both the SPA areas, as well as the laundry area and the front desk could be reached on foot. A parking lot was available a few feet from the apartment. Yosemite National Park could be reached in about 10 minutes by car.
The balcony in our room was spacious with a wonderful view of the river. Our room - and bathroom - was big enough for 4 adults. The small kitchen area with refrigerator, toaster, coffee machine, utensils and stove top was an added bonus as we were able to prepare breakfast, keep food and drinks cold and heat leftovers. The hotel was well located in a scenic area of the park and about a half hour drive from the well visited Yosemite Valley center.
Clean, basic, easy check-in at Cedar Lodge. Hot tub is fantastic. Festoon lights are a nice touch. One car space.
Located OUTSIDE Yosemite NP, it can be a quick 30 minute drive to the entry gate if you leave early each day (between 6am & 8am). One day we left at 10.15am and it took a full 3 hours in a crawling queue of traffic just to reach the park gate. This was late May, Memorial Day weekend.
Big fridge/freezer.
1、Great location. The nearest hotel to Yosemite gate
2. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.
3. Although cold outside, there were 2 hot tubs ( one outdoor and one indoor) and a indoor swimming pool open till 10 pm. Great for kids.
4. great to have a kitchen in the room to cook for my child.
5. rather quiet in the Mountain View room.
6. there was a brown bear wandering around the parking lot!
This hotel is all about location - one of the closest to the entrance to Yosemite National Park. Probably about 30 minutes or less. It is pricey because of the location and it's a no frills hotel - older rooms, few updates; our sink was leaking. But, they do have an indoor pool which is wonderful after a hike.
Close to the Yosemite National Park. It’s about 20 mins drive to the entrance. It has a pool and a game room which are good for kids. it also has a gift shop + grocery store which opens till late at night. It’s very convenient if you came back in the evening and wanted to do some shopping.
The property lcoation is prime real estate from Yosemite. You can stock up on essential items, restaurants in the hotel lobby. I had the river view, which was very pleasant. We ate at the hotel restaurant. The room itself is very spacious and the stall is very friendly.
Fabulous location on the outskirts of Yosemite National Park. We had a balcony room, which was nice. Outdoor and indoor pool and jacuzzi was nice. Bar and grill served good food and mini supermarket was reasonably priced and well stocked.
Room Size was good, location near to Yosemite Valley (a 15-30 min drive away. El portal is a quiet location with one shop. Expect to use the restaurants on site or cook as there isn't anything else nearby that is in walking distance.
our particular unit looked like it was updated versus the pics so we were pleasantly surprised. loved it’s proximity to the entrance of the national park- we were in Yosemite Valley within 30 minutes of leaving the hotel.
The location was just outside of yosemite but a very short drive. The mercer river was just behind the hotel. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable.
Great location for exploring Yosemite, YARTS bus into park stops at hotel. Lovely outdoor areas with bbq and seating areas, especially the creek opposite.
