The facility was in excellent shape. The breakfast choices were very good, and the waffles were tasty. The staff kept the eating area clean, and well stocked. the room was in excellent shape & the facility was very quiet. It is close to a Walmart Supercenter, and there were numerous places to dine in the evening.

Front counter was under staffed the whole 3 days I was there, very inefficient service, came after 6pm and my room wasn’t even ready, had to wait 1/2 hour for that, seems like a lack of staff again. Hot tub was barely hotter than the pool, very disappointing. Hard to understand why a new hotel is doing so poorly could be a great place to stay.

La verkin is very small, has a really great restaurant called the stagecoach and a cool coffee shop called river roasters.... and not much else. It is like a two minute drive to hurricane which has just about everything you'd want or need and about a 15 minute drive to st. George which is a pretty good sized town.

We really liked La Verkin!
We really liked La Verkin! It is a charming town away from the craziness of Zion. Easy to navigate, friendly
people. We ate at El Rancho which was very good, authentic Mexican food! We give 5 stars for food, 4 for atmosphere since some outside tables were very close to the road 😅.

Our bungalow was charming.
Our bungalow was charming. It was close to Zion National Park and local restaurants. The Stagecoach Grill had delicious food with a full service bar and River Rock Roasting Company has many coffee options and breakfast options. It also serves pizza, beer, and wine.

Closeness to food and scenery.
Closeness to food and scenery. Great office person and check in. Parking area in back of hotel, quiet. Room window right on road but curtains blocked view. Not enough outlets in room for both bed light and clock of hotel.
