This place is just amazing, not only the house but overall place. The staff is friendly, helpful, and communicative. This is a ranch with animals that kids (and adults) can visit and pet. Owners were so kind that they introduced us to baby goats, explained how to behave around them, and let us go into the fenced area. At the reception area, they have an engaging souvenir store and breakfast area where everyone can find something for themself (super happy for gluten-free options). Everywhere can be sensed amazing feeling for interior and landscape design - everything is done with perfection and attention to detail. We all loved the pool area - they have several saunas, a unique outdoor pool with (heated/cooled) resting pavilions, a jacuzzi, a grill with tables, and a fire pit area. It was made very thoughtful.
I wish we could have stayed longer.

This was a nice motel in a great setting, perfect for visiting Capitol Reef. The room was very spacious, comfortable and well-planned, with a wash-hand basin separate from the bathroom, which we appreciated. Breakfast was available on site for an additional cost, but this was convenient.

The Sky View Hotel was beautiful and artistically designed.
The Sky View Hotel was beautiful and artistically designed. The art instellation was so cool. They were very welcoming. Really enjoyed all the extra details they put into making our stay wonderful. They had snacks ready, large water bottles we could use for hiking, delicious fresh ground local coffee and a healthy breakfast from a local vendor. The room was perfect for viewing the stars. We also went up to the roof deck for night viewing. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable. This is a truely wonderful place. Capitol Reef is a splendid National Park. Not to be missed.

Nice little town in a spectacular location near fabulous Capital Reef National Park. Liked the well stocked Chuck Wagon General Store with attached laundromat and helpful, friendly owner. Especially liked the nearby Color Country Animal Welfare Center which is a no-kill shelter with a wonderful staff, which also provides affordable boarding for people traveling with dogs so they can hike in the park which doesn't allow dogs on most trails. Would stay in the area again.

Here you get all the beauty of Sedona, while leaving the crowds behind. This part of the world is easily some of the most beautiful. Torrey is right at the base of Boulder Mountain which offers all the activities typical to forested areas, while Capitol Reef National Park offers stunning desert rock formations. Enjoy one of America's great roads on Utah State Route 12 -- worth driving the whole thing.

Torrey is a small town in central Utah.
Torrey is a small town in central Utah. It is 10 miles west of Capitol Reef National Park. There are not many facilities to accommodate the ever growing number of visitors. Unfortunately, prices for lodging, food, camping and services keep rising at a faster rate than inflation. The attraction is the nation park and BLM recreation lands, such as Grand Staircase- Escalante National Monument, and the scenery. The restaurants, and now food trucks, charge above average prices for average food. The best value in town is the Chuckwagon Deli and Grocery Store.
Our stay in Torrey was great, it's location in relation to Capitol Reef National Park is perfect. We did not know what to expect at Motel Torrey, it was a throw back to the small Motels along all the old State Rtes. It was wonderful, we were greeted by Michelle , gave us all the information we needed and made great suggestions for dinner that night. Our room was exceptionally clean everything neat and tidy, we wish we could have spent another night in the area. We would most definitely recommend staying at Motel Torrey.
Amazing view! Property has teepees, covered wagons, cabins and hotel rooms to stay in. There are also lamas, horseback riding, fire pits with Adirondack chairs for cooking smores (buy the smores set ups & sticks in gift shop), a nice pool and hot tub, a workout facility, laundry room (again purchase items needed in gift shop) and a wonderful restaurant on the property and 2 more within walking distance. There are the cutest little wild bunnies running around too. Wonderful place to stay!
Room was amazing. We had the spa suite because we had a total of 5 people on our trip. Room was so nice. Very clean and comfortable. The spa bathroom was amazing and my son loved taking a bath in the spa bathtub. Staff was super friendly and very helpful. The pool and hot tub were perfect. Amazing views from the pool. So relaxing after an adventurous day. Perfect location near Capitol Reef. Definitely our go to hotel when visiting Capitol Reef.
Comfortable room with good beds. The hotel was renovating it's premises, but they sent us a warning. The work was only done during the day so it was not a problem at all. It's a big location with a pool, shop and different accomodations and a big restaurant. Location is a perfect start to explore the Capital Reef.
it’s a large property with beautiful surroundings, very peaceful, loved the animals on the farm, the staff were very friendly, great food/ snack selection in the common area/kitchen, room was very large, very nice modern bathroom, the town of Torrey had great restaurants and surrounding area had great hikes.
We stayed here for one night, it was good choice. The view from a room is beautiful, you can see mountains and a lot of stars at night. They have small restaurant in the hotel, but there is also another one on the other side of the road. It is outside the center of Torrey, but it is worth to stay here.
Room is ok and beautiful location. Breakfast is good but waiting time way too long and atmosphere in the restaurant kind of depressing. One positive thing is that recommendation for another restaurant nearby was a perfect choice.
Excellent location near Capitol Reef National Park. Well stocked grocery store and first rate cafe/deli for breakfasts and box lunche prior to hikes. Staff very friendly and helpful
Great location to CRNP. COMFORTABLE. had info about food and amenities nearby. Very helpful in adjusting our lodging schedule. I would stay there again for a longer time.
Great location near Capital Reef National Park. The rooms were clean and comfortable though dated. The restaurant was the best meal and service of our trip!
