We stayed in a King Suite room which was huge! The room was clean and the beds comfortable. It was a short walk to some of the local restaurants so made getting dinner easy. And the breakfast was good the next morning too. It's about a 15-minute drive to the Grand Canyon Village where we were able to find a car park the next morning. There was a little store onsite where we could buy our lunch for the following day which was great.

The hotel is very near to Grand Canyon South Entrance and the IMAX. The room is cosy and bed is comfortable. There is no complimentary breakfast, but there are complimentary coffee/tea and parking.
Views of the valleys and forest areas are featured in select Arizona apartments. Grand Canyon South Rim Entrance is 5 minutes’ drive.

We stayed in studios. Location is great, 15 min to Grand Canyon Village if you drive before the entrance queue starts. Elks were grazing right in front of the house. The studio was comfortable and had everything we needed.

Tusayan offers a reasonable alternative to the usurious prices Xanterra is asking to stay on the South Rim of the canyon. The town itself seems to have been built last week and there's nothing to do there after 8:30 pm. Having said that, the town does offer the most vegetarian friendly steakhouse imaginable (yes, looking at you Yippie-Ti-Yay) and a few other restaurants that are not national chains as well as a post office that . . . functions, tho the postmistress is not a very polite representative of the federal government.

The staff does not speak my language and there are some offers that they offered me but they did not tell me that Mondays did not apply. They did not know how to tell me where the entrance or the attractions for the Grand Canyon were, I would have liked information for any day of the week to be available . The place is pleasant, it is cold, the landscapes are very beautiful.

If you have problems with slow drains, apparent black mold and/or unreliable heating unit get after management to change rooms immediately! Housekeeping were pleasant and worked hard. Front desk staff can be indifferent.

Tusayan is a cute, one-main-street town just south of the south entrance to the south rim of the Grand Canyon. People are very friendly here and Tusayan offers hotels/motels, restaurants, nice souvenir shopping, a homemade fudge/ice cream shop (that stays open later for those with a sweet tooth!), gas station, and bus stops with free shuttles that take you into the Grand Canyon area. As well, several Grand Canyon tour companies pick up in Tusayan. We really enjoyed our stay there! Just beware, the elk can get really close to/onto the roadway in the evenings. We were greeted by a small group of them very near to the first roundabout coming into Tusayan proper when driving in from the Camp Verde area. We enjoyed our meal at the Foodie Club - fresh ingredients/cool breakfast place with some other tasty stuff on the menu. And enjoyed the homemade fudge (lots of flavors available, they'll give you a sample to try a few if you can't decide) at Grand Canyon Chocolate Factory in Tusayan. We also loved the wide variety and pricing of souvenirs at the Grand Canyon Trading Post in Tusayan.

The location was great for proximity to the National Park and surrounding trails. Food and cocktails were convenient and great quality. Staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Couldn't have asked for better, and for a great price.

I liked that Tusayan was only about 6 miles from the Canyon.
I liked that Tusayan was only about 6 miles from the Canyon. We drove to the park at 7 AM and had breakfast at the El Tovar hotel in the park. No waiting to enter the park, and only a short wait for breakfast (with a window view of the canyon).
The town felt safe and was very quiet at night.
Beautiful hotel. Easy transit to Grand Canyon National Park. Staff were friendly and helpful.
This isn't related to the hotel in any way. My suggestion is to pick up food and drinks, including water, long before exiting Route 40. Food in Tusayan is expensive. Bring your water, salad mixes, healthy food.
The hotel is lovely and would be our first choice should we return to Tusayan.
Quite a big hotel, but I think the proximity to the National Park creates the need for a lot of rooms. We liked the proximity to the Park, we spent the night before exploring the Park itself. The village of Tusayan itself is nothing special, it offers some restaurants, but we just ate in the restaurant in the hotel itself, which was quite good.
Toiletries provided by the hotel are of excellent quality. Tesler supercharger within compound, making it super convenient. Location close to Grand Canyon, supermarket, imax, Big E steakhouse n Starbucks. Lots of choices for breakfast nearby even if you choose to skip breakfast at the hotel.
Beautiful hotel with an interesting set up. Enjoyable balcony off the inside of the hotel with trees, hot tubs and restaurant. Location to the Grand Canyon was excellent and the hotel was easily walkable to restaurants, shops and the GC visitor center. Rooms are basic but pleasant enough.
Very spacious apartment a short drive from the Grand Canyon (in Tusayan). Our willingness to stay in Tusayan saved us hundreds (versus staying in Grand Canyon Village), to include better food options at a much cheaper price. The apartment was huge and offered plenty of space for us.
A wonderful and beautiful hotel. Room very comfortable, well equipped and clean. Perfect location very close to the Grand Canyon. Hotel service very polite and professional. Fantastic atmosphere. Amazing place worth recommending!
Nicely decorated rooms and public areas, well equipped rooms, clean and comfortable. Great location near Grand Canyon. Friendly, helpful staff. Good food in the downstairs pub, and fun to have the arcade and bowling alley on site.
Great location in Tusayan, walkable to restaurants and shops. Easy drive into the park entrance. The staff go above and beyond. Super friendly. They practically serve you breakfast at the buffet.
The best hotel on my US trip and located inside Grand Canyon Village. Amazing Arcade and pool area, didn't expected that quality. Enough parking space. Even got a voucher for the Arcade area
Really liked the main hotel. Restaurants and bars. Great atmosphere. If we had it to do again we would have stayed in the hotel, however, we had dogs with us so chose studio.
We had a great time in this hotel which is really near to the Grand Canyon and that was exactly why we booked this hotel. It was good that breakfast was included.
