The best thing about the hotel is the hotel manager Lucas. He’s extremely friendly and helps wherever he can, be it with booking of tickets, advise for routes in the park or organizing drivers to travel to and from Zhangjiajie. Besides that, I loved the location of the hotel in a very small village at the west entrance of the park. First of all it was super peaceful and calm and second it made it possible to visit the park in the opposite direction of the tourist groups, therefore it was much emptier if you start early. Finally, the rooms with the view of the mountains were so so beautiful. I really enjoyed waking up with the beautiful view. The food in the hotel, both for breakfast and for dinner was delicious.

Everything! The location is nice because you stay close to one of the entrances for Zhangjiajie national park, and as it's not the main entrance, you follow a different path than the main crowds. Carol was super friendly and explained everything about the activities in the area.
