Hartoft St is an absolute gem of a place. Our group consisted of two adults and two kids and it was the perfect base for our trip to York. The location is ideal - 30 seconds walk to the river and a 15 minute walk into the heart of York along the river or by the main roads. Parking is available outside and we had no problem finding a space. The property itself has everything you need and we found it to be a truly welcoming and comfortable setting. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend staying here.

Me & my daughter had a wonderful time and our dog came along with us too , The lodge was spotless and had everything we needed and very spacious, it even had Ice in the freezer that was a lovely touch, The hot tub was so lovely and relaxing. Wonderful house. Close to the Minster, the City Centre, the Sainsbury‘s supermarket, a charming place, very quiet, lovely fireplace in the living room. Very nice landlady, we were extremely happy to have found this place. Looking forward to going there againg. We can only recommend this place!!!

We had a group of 7 staying for 2 days of the York Ebor Racing Festival. The house was within walking distance of the train station where buses transported people to the racetrack. Our host facilitated an early bag drop at the house so that we could travel on to the racetrack without our luggage. The house was very clean, bathroom and shower facilities were very good, there was a nice outdoor green area at the back, it is shared with the other units but you have your own table and chairs. It's an ideal property for racing and music festivals for groups of 6-8.
