It's my first 10 on Booking.com in 14 years of using it. The villa is very clean, the location is very quiet (a small village) and the host answered promptly to every message.

Met Stelios on arrival. Great host, felt like we were meeting family. Answered all questions we had. Room was as expected for a studio. One of the bigger ones we had stayed. Felt like a hotel but a bit bigger—fully equipped, good kitchen. We cooked 5/7 nights with no issues. Very quiet room/area. We travelled in late September, so the whole area was nice and quiet. Good little balcony to be able to sit and work from. No washing machine unit in the room, but Stelios offered us to use his one which was very helpful. We are digital nomads and move from week to week, so those small aspects of "living" help us out a lot. Great air con, good fan if you want a more natural breeze. Plenty of charging ports throughout the room. Large fridge. Big wardrobe. The location was great for exploring the wider Methana area by car and hiking up the volcanoes. Good selection of local taverns and people around.

The location is unbeatable: ten steps to the sea, a short stroll to the tavernas around the port & a leisurely amble along the seafront to a choice of restaurants. But, despite this proximity to eateries, it is a quiet and peaceful retreat. Inside is comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen area, cosy sofas in the lounge & comfortable beds. Both bedrooms have air con. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained, but note that the single indoor shower is in the downstairs bathroom. There is a wc in both bathrooms. There is a shaded seating area outside, and an outdoor shower for after swimming.

The property was located in a calm village in the middle of the mountain, surrounded by wonderful olive orchards and spectacular views. The sea coast and drive over to Methana was very easy as the house benefits from a good position for day trips. The bedrooms are well separated if you need privacy amongst the group or family you are travelling with, and the great thing about the house is the 3 bathrooms as well. Will definitely return and would absolutely recommend!

Our time at the villa on Poros Island was amazing! George, our host, was incredibly kind and welcoming. The house was spotless and had everything we needed, especially the kitchen for cooking up fantastic meals on the balcony with stunning views. Being right by the beach in such a quiet area was a dream. George and his wife made us feel like family, which made our vacation extra special. We'll definitely be back for more of this paradise! Thank you for everything!

Athina’s place is really exceptional. From the location – a literal stone’s throw from the beach – to the decor, cleanliness, and spaciousness. Our host was most accommodating, even checking in with us when there was a weather warning! There are some cool beach bars nearby as well as some family-owned tavernas, both serve food at reasonable prices. We took a €5,50 taxi from the port with our suitcases and walked to the port (45 min) on another day. The apartment is situated perfectly for hikes, or you can rent a (motor)bike nearby. Absolutely recommend if you’re looking for a quieter yet accessible spot on Poros!
