Location is in a pretty and quiet residential area, perfect for us because it was a 10-minute walk from friends we were visiting. There are several food shops, cafes, and restaurants within a few blocks' walk, and it's a 15-minute walk to Apeldoorn's center for anything else you need, or the railway station. Bus transportation is close by. Our hostess was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and lives on the property next door. Someone was always available if needed for questions. The bedroom was small but comfortable, bathroom spacious with a big walk-in shower (no tub). Kitchen was well set up for cooking, although we didn't do much more than make tea and coffee and prepare cold foods for breakfast and lunch. There is a very comfortable, bright little sitting room that looks out onto a pretty leafy garden, with a tiny private outdoor sitting area.

What is not to like! The property is a real gem, set in nature, surrounded by constant bird song and completely private. A large patio to sit and read out in the fresh air, or cosy up on the sofa with a blanket if it’s chilly outside. It had all the things needed to enjoy the stay, a home away from home.

This lodging was exactly what we required. It is located towards the rear of the owner's house and has a living room/kitchen with a dining table and very compact cooking area with stovetop, microwave, and fridge; comfortable bed. There was also a washing machine and dryer and a very good shower. The tv included access to Netflix.

It was clean and quiet. The location was the best for summer season. The property had majority of the facilities needed. The host was good.
