The country house offers an American or vegetarian breakfast. We had the most wonderful time at this hidden paradise. The staff is super nice, the food is great and the views are breathtaking. While having breakfast you can watch the peacocks and colibris. The rooms are super comfortable, clean and the balcony invites you to relax. We can highly recommend a stay here.

The staff were so helpful all the time with all of the question, the restaurant food is superb - try the Costa Curry with chicken - you’ll thank me later!!! 😄 Location is great, 10min by foot to Tayrona entrance and the place itself was cute, we stayed in the lodge by the main road but with ear plugs I couldn’t hear a thing. As a tip: withdraw cash somewhere by the airport or in Santa Marta beforehand as around Villa Tayrona you can only pay by cash or pay a card fee between 7-12% per transaction. In Villa Tayrona though, they put everything on one bill and you can pay by card before you leave without an additional fee! WiFi can be spotty but then just restart and it works fine. It was so superb, I wanna come back even just for the food! Thanks a lot for your help & service to the whole Villa Tayrona staff!

The chalet has a hot tub and full-day security. This cabana in Taganga is really amazing. We had 6 nights here and enjoyed all of them. Taganga itself can be a bit hectic, therefore staying at Bareke Azul on the hillside was just wonderful - only 5 min from centre of Taganga but far enough to get some peace, quiet and wonderful views. Also, one of the owners Ramon is just a really great and friendly host. All in all, we had an amazing stay at Bareke Azul. It’s not a luxury hotel, but considering the price, it’s perfect.
