Hosts were very helpful with providing information and offered to get us anything we needed. Air conditioning was a great treat after hiking to the beaches.

Diego, the owner/manager was extremely helpful navigating my hike through Tyrona State Park. he was always available on WhatsApp and answered all my questions immediately regarding travel onward. The staff are extremely kind and patient. The food is excellent. The room was extremely clean and smelled fresh. The sheets and towels are fresh as well. The private patio with hammock was a very nice tranquil area.

The staff were so helpful all the time with all of the question, the restaurant food is superb - try the Costa Curry with chicken - you’ll thank me later!!! 😄 Location is great, 10min by foot to Tayrona entrance and the place itself was cute, we stayed in the lodge by the main road but with ear plugs I couldn’t hear a thing. As a tip: withdraw cash somewhere by the airport or in Santa Marta beforehand as around Villa Tayrona you can only pay by cash or pay a card fee between 7-12% per transaction. In Villa Tayrona though, they put everything on one bill and you can pay by card before you leave without an additional fee! WiFi can be spotty but then just restart and it works fine. It was so superb, I wanna come back even just for the food! Thanks a lot for your help & service to the whole Villa Tayrona staff!

The ocean breezes keep the balcony and cabana cool if you want to open it up for the fresh air. The way it is positioned you don't get hit by the afternoon sun directly so it's a really nice spot to relax. Additionally, the cabana has a lot of small touches and finishing that make it feel really elegant. They didn't just throw together a cabana but you can see the really put time into making it nice.

Hostal Agroturistico ecológico is a country house located in Guachaca. Complimentary private parking is available on site. The property is 9 km from Parque Nacional Tayrona. Maria, Karolina and Magola were the best hosts we have stayed with!!! They made our stay feels like home: we had dinner with them, play the game "stop" with Karolina and the food made by Maria was really really good!!!! The views are absolutly astonishing! We will remember you forever! Maria also let us leave our bags in their house while we went to pass a night in Park Tayrona!

Posada la Ofelia is situated in El Trompito, 31 km from Santa Marta. There is a restaurant and guests can have fun at the games room. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property. Family run, Javier and Esperanza are wonderful, attentive hosts. You feel like part of the family immediately upon arrival. Dinner and breakfast are fabulous, you can watch birds, hummingbirds. Great location also for excursions to Tayrona National Park.

So clean and comfortable. Perfect place to attend El Rio's parties or to just go hang by the river - it is only a very cheap 3 minute moto taxi or a 20 minute walk! The staff are very kind! There is amazing room service, netflix, and self controllable air-conditioning!! I can not recommend it enough! Also unrelated but "Buritaca Fried Chicken" on the main road is a must!!!
