Communication prior to arrival was excellent. There are two markets and a gas station very close by for all your basic needs. Also there was a great bar and restaurant called moyas and a german bakery that was fantastic. House had just enough things to be able to cook for our family of 7. It's about a 45-60 min drive to arenal national park and la fortuna. Showers were hot and house had all our basic needs.

The views were just amazing. We woke up the first morning and was not able to see the lake at all. But by the second morning, we could see the lake, mountain ranges, windmills in the distance, it was beautiful. The house was cute and well appointed. Beds were comfortable. Having the pool there during the hot days was awesome. The pool was the perfect place to cool off.

We had such a great stay, we even extended it for one more day. It‘s a great property to stay in, very quiet with just nature around. The club house offers a lot of on top activities, such as table tennis, billiards, on some mornings you can even find a breakfast service. You can also book a massage (I recommend). The pool is absolutely fantastic! The hosts made us feel very welcome. They furnished the house with very much love and with best quality equipment (we have not experienced anywhere else in Costa Rica). Vulkan Arenal Amazing View Lodge 4 WD har en trädgård, en terrass och en restaurang och erbjuder boende i El Castillo de la Fortuna med gratis WiFi och utsikt över sjön. We (1 couple) stayed for 3 days in this beautiful lodge. The lodge is directly located on top of a small plateau of a mountain. The view we had up there is just amazing. The Arenal is exposed really good and sitting at the outside table was a beautiful experience. It is really quiet most of the time, because there is no neighbors. Only during the night it can get a bit loud due to strong winds or rain. The kitchen and bathroom/shower facilties seem really modern. You need a 4x4 car to climb the asphalted road and get to the lodge. The owners were really friendly and communicating was always fast (Whatsapp).

Property manager gave a good orientation and was responsive to questions.

Pie in the Sky 3 Amazing Luxury Home with Lake and Volcano view är ett parhus som ligger i El Fosforo i Alajuela-regionen, 13 km från Fortuna. A wonderful place! ... Really "in the sky", all around only nature, no view of houses. Very good for birdwatching, toucans come by daily and hummingbirds are everywhere. There is an observation platform. You can see the volcano and Lake Arenal from everywhere on the property and the many armchairs grouped around the house. The people from the agency are very friendly and helpful. We missed some things in the kitchen and bedside lamps, everything was done immediately. You have to know that there are three units on the property. In addition to the large house with four bedrooms (which we rented), there is a (very) small unit in a kind of garden house for 2 people and another house with 2 bedrooms.

Detta semesterhus ligger i El Fosforo i Alajuela-regionen, 13 km från Fortuna. Här finns en uteplats. Köket har mikrovågsugn, brödrost och kylskåp. Handdukar och sängkläder ingår. The view is amazing. We were waisted because everything we saw during the hikes couldn’t compete with our place. And lot’s of Kolibri’s and butterflies in the garden.
