These include Mount Usher gardens, Glendalough and Powerscourt house and gardens. Cozy layout with fireplace (and starter pack), atmospheric, lovely gardens, surroundings, view. Warm, literally, the heating system was wonderful. Big, hot shower, kitchen with everything needed. Friendly staff and owner. 15 minutes from Wicklow. Clean. TV with a zillion channels, DVD player with Mr. Bean collection. Even fast WiFi, which I wasn't expecting!

Barbecue facilities are at guests' disposal at the country house, and guests can also relax in the garden or go on a picnic in the picnic area. Wonderful location, very quiet & peacefull full private location. It was a trip back to past, when the house was built, like the owners explained. Very beautiful garden and accomodation, with private waterfall. We recomend to take the proposed dinner, we even had a private dinner. Very welcoming hosts. It was a very relaxing stay.

Really nice to be outside of the city and see the country. Driving on the roads were a little tight but made for a fun adventure. Breakfast was amazing as well! Fruit tasted so fresh and there were many options. Incredible stay! Louise was so fun to talk with, she shared much insight and was very warm and welcoming the entire time. Both her and Jimmy were amazing hosts and had so much to offer us for our stay.

Ideal location to explore Wicklow area. Accommodation was clean and well maintained. Hosts were friendly and helpful. The laundry room was a bonus - wonderful to be able to wash and dry dirty clothes.

This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The property offers allergy-free units and is situated 22 km from Wicklow Gaol. My girlfriend and I rarely conduct longs reviews of the places we have stayed accommodations, but Deerstone really deserved to be an exception. Our stay there was exceptional from the beginning. Casey made sure that we do not have any problems finding the place and that everything was ready before our arrival (her welcome handmade bread was truly delicious). The house we stayed clearly exceeded our expectations… It was everything we needed and more. Cooking at this kitchen with warm lights and music at the bluetooth speakers, playing some boardgames at a quiet place, watching a movie above the chimney with projector (we are definitively going to by the same projector model) at night, the softness of the sheets… The house was so cozy that it was hard to convince my girlfriend to leave the accommodation to do some hiking. Great routes such as the Spinc are 5 minutes by car and there are other easy and nice walks starting right next to the house. Deers can be easily spotted and there are a high variety of different landscapes (forests, grass hills, rivers, lakes, steep rocky mountains…). Angela was paying attention to all our needs and, by the time we were back from the hiking (the routes were amazing despite the rain and the wind), we have the sauna and hot tub ready to use. I was a degree of attention and luxury that we are clearly not used to 😊 Being in the hot tub in the open air while raining and with views to the mountains at sunset was one of the highlights of our trip to Ireland. We didn't have enough time to enjoy other facilities of the place, such as the yoga lounge next to the river, ping-pong tables... Every detail has been taking into consideration and the whole place has a amazing vibe.

The recently renovated holiday home is fitted with 4 bedrooms, a flat-screen TV and a fully equipped kitchen that provides guests with a dishwasher, an oven, a washing machine, a microwave and a toaster. Towels and bed linen are offered in the holiday home. There is also a seating area and a fireplace. Brand new remodel and super clean. The beds were so comfortable and it was well appointed. Very close to the adorable Wicklow shops and pubs…very close! It was in a very safe area and we loved walking in the afternoons with the locals all out with their dogs, walking to Black Castle or having a pint in the evening. When we had a question about the washer, Graham popped over and showed us how to use it.
