Overlooking Lake Mývatn, this camping site offers cottages with wooden floors, a private bathroom and a terrace. Kjempefin hytte, som virkelig var en positiv overraskelse. Flott lavafelt utenfor og kort til så mange severdigheter. Vi laget mat selv , og alt vi trengte var der. Stille og rolig område.

A recently renovated holiday home set in Reykjahlíð, Myvo The Studio apartment at Geiteyjarströnd 4 features a garden. Very nice place in an amazing part of Iceland. The host was very friendly and came to see if everything is OK. The place is magnificent and the house is fully equipped (fridge, oven, washing machine... exactly what we needed at half of our journey). You can prepare your own supper / breakfast and eat on the patio or inside with a view on the lake. We did the Diamond Circle from here and the ash volcano across the road 😉 Don't worry about the small flies... they are harmless and all over the Myvatn region... nothing to do with this very place . Highly recommended. Enjoy. 3D

A recently renovated villa located in Geiteyjarstrond, Myvo The House Geiteyjarströnd 4 features a garden. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The very comfortable home from home, accommodation. Plenty of space for four people to spread out and enjoy the view across the lake. The close proximity to the amazing geological sites was a real bonus. The laundry facilities were excellent and we made good use of them.

Situated in Myvatn, within 50 km of Godafoss Waterfall, Slow Travel Mývatn - Óli's Homestay-Private house v is an accommodation offering mountain views. Such a cute little home. The owners have worked so hard to share the history of their house and the region. Really well equipped, super comfortable beds, lovely photographs and local ephemera. Extremely warm and cozy. Very eco-friendly and sustainable - top marks for this. We’d definitely return.

Located 49 km from Godafoss Waterfall and offering barbecue facilities, Hlíd Huts provides accommodation in Myvatn. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. It was a cute little hut. There's no bathroom in the room, but they seemed to be very clear about that up front. We enjoyed sitting on our front porch sipping wine and looking over the lava field.
