Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Icelandic Lake House is situated in Akranes. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. We have been travelling in Iceland for 3 weeks and have stayed in some outstanding (plus a couple of not quite outstanding) accommodations. The Lake House is by far our favourite. The view from the conservatory and the deck were exceptional. We decided to take a ‘rest day’ here to just enjoy the view, the peace and the hot pot. It was great having access to coffee, herbs and spices left by the owners to use in our meal prep. Access was very easy with the lockbox. The heating was already on for us which was greatly appreciated. Btw I loved the swans in the pond. 😂

Hvammur 4 with private hot tub (Fagurgali) is set in Drangsnes. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. The holiday home has a picnic area and a hot tub. This was one of the most beautiful stays while travelling Iceland. It is set pretty much in the middle of nature and the house was quite big for two people and nicely furnished. The hot tub with naturally hot water was also just an incredible add-on. Would absolutely go there again and also for longer.

Situated in Snæfellsbær in the West Iceland region, Nátthagi Luxury Cottage features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The property features mountain and lake views. A place i'd like to spend the rest of my life. Absolutely stunning!!!!

Located in Kaldrananes, Hvammur 3 Hrakhólar with private hot tub offers an open-air bath, a garden and a barbecue. The property has river and garden views. House is awesome, location amazing and the hot tub is just perfect.

Located in Borgarnes in the West Iceland region, Gíslaholt features a patio. This holiday home provides free private parking, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. Modern, Clean and well equipped. Good location for the west and northern lights viewing.

Situated in Drangsnes in the West Iceland region, Hvammur 1 with private hot tub features accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. Awesome apartment, fully equipped, very spacious and comfortable. Very peaceful and quiet place, wish we could stay for more nights!

Eiði Farmhouse has sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Grundarfjordur. The property features garden views. The rooms include a terrace with lake views. Very homey guesthouse that has plenty of facilities. It is fully furnished with a really nice decoration style suiting the farm it is located at. The host is very friendly and kind and invited us to take a look at their cows during milking. All the rooms have plenty of space and the kitchen is very well equipped. Everything is also very clean and well maintained. Last but not least the surroudings are magnificent!

Sodulsholt Cottages offer self-catering cottages in Sodulsholt and views of the surrounding landscape. Free WiFi is available. Perfect little cottage. Literally nothing bad to be mentioned about it. Confy, well maintaned, warm and well insulated despite the heavy winds we had during our stay. A lot of large windows (we saw a small stretch of the aurora right front the bed) and the kitchen has everything one would need for cooking a nice dinner. We even stopped near their farm and saw the beautiful horses they have, there was one nice guy who let us in for a couple of mins. Definitely recommend. It is not cheap but well… what’s cheap in Iceland? The price is fair anyway.

Hítarneskot Holiday Home is a holiday home with a barbecue, set in Hítarneskot. Guests benefit from terrace. Free private parking is available on site. Free WiFi is offered. Lovely cottage set next to the sea. The house had everything we needed. Warm and comfortable. You can sit by the window and just watch the horses. We visited in winter and it was an excellent place to view the aurora.

Set in Bær in the West Iceland region, Jadar Farm offers accommodation with free private parking. This villa provides a garden. Kényelmes, tiszta, minden a megfelelő, kézreálló helyen, fantasztikus környezetben. Nagyon jól felszerelt a konyha, minden apróságra gondolt a szállásadó. Külön tetszett a hangulatvilágítás lehetősége és a hatalmas, kényelmes kanapé!
