Terletak di Akranes di kawasan Vesturland, Icelandic Lake House mempunyai teres dan pemandangan gunung. We have been travelling in Iceland for 3 weeks and have stayed in some outstanding (plus a couple of not quite outstanding) accommodations. The Lake House is by far our favourite. The view from the conservatory and the deck were exceptional. We decided to take a ‘rest day’ here to just enjoy the view, the peace and the hot pot. It was great having access to coffee, herbs and spices left by the owners to use in our meal prep. Access was very easy with the lockbox. The heating was already on for us which was greatly appreciated. Btw I loved the swans in the pond. 😂

Terletak di Drangsnes di kawasan Vesturland, Hvammur 4 with private hot tub (Fagurgali) mempunyai balkoni. Rumah percutian ini mempunyai taman dan tempat parking peribadi percuma. This was one of the most beautiful stays while travelling Iceland. It is set pretty much in the middle of nature and the house was quite big for two people and nicely furnished. The hot tub with naturally hot water was also just an incredible add-on. Would absolutely go there again and also for longer.

Terletak di Borgarnes di kawasan Vesturland, Gíslaholt menyediakan penginapan dengan WiFi percuma dan tempat parking peribadi percuma. Modern, Clean and well equipped. Good location for the west and northern lights viewing.

Amazing little cottage in a beautiful location. Very bright inside because of many windows around the living room and kitchen area. Fully equipped kitchen and nice bedrooms and a bathroom.

Terletak di Grundarfjordur, Eiði Farmhouse mempunyai penginapan dengan WiFi percuma dan taman dengan teres dan pemandangan laut. Very homey guesthouse that has plenty of facilities. It is fully furnished with a really nice decoration style suiting the farm it is located at. The host is very friendly and kind and invited us to take a look at their cows during milking. All the rooms have plenty of space and the kitchen is very well equipped. Everything is also very clean and well maintained. Last but not least the surroudings are magnificent!

Sodulsholt Cottages offer self-catering cottages in Sodulsholt and views of the surrounding landscape. Free WiFi is available. Perfect little cottage. Literally nothing bad to be mentioned about it. Confy, well maintaned, warm and well insulated despite the heavy winds we had during our stay. A lot of large windows (we saw a small stretch of the aurora right front the bed) and the kitchen has everything one would need for cooking a nice dinner. We even stopped near their farm and saw the beautiful horses they have, there was one nice guy who let us in for a couple of mins. Definitely recommend. It is not cheap but well… what’s cheap in Iceland? The price is fair anyway.

Hítarneskot Holiday Home is a holiday home with a barbecue, set in Hítarneskot. Guests benefit from terrace. Free private parking is available on site. Free WiFi is offered. Lovely cottage set next to the sea. The house had everything we needed. Warm and comfortable. You can sit by the window and just watch the horses. We visited in winter and it was an excellent place to view the aurora.

Close to many things worth seeing, the surrounding area is stunning. Stayed with my husband and son, and it was absolutely perfect for the 3 of us. If we ever go back to visit the area we would definitely stay again.
