Shirin1892 is a lovely homestay surrounded by idyllic mountains and tea plantations. It's located about a 15 minute walk from the centre of Nuwara Eliya and 10 minute walk to Gregory Lake. The host, Asela is so friendly, helpful and accomodating and told us lots of stories and history about Nuwara Eliya and his family home. Our room was very big and comfortable and we had thick blankets for the colder nights. The home was like stepping back in time and it was so interesting to see the contrast of architecture, decor etc to homes in the rest of Sri Lanka. Thanks again to Asela and his family for a wonderful stay 🙏🏼

A very cosy ,peacefull ,relaxing and a well looked after property . The staff was extremely good especially the chef who cooked an excellent dinner and some lovely homemade cookies Definitely a place to recommend 👍👍👍

Nastanitev La Grande Villa je od znamenitosti Jezero Gregory oddaljena 2,6 km in ponuja restavracijo, vrt, skupni prostor za druženje ter teraso. The Sri lankan breakfast was delicious and the best breakfast we had in our 10 days stay in Sri lanka. Rooms were spacious and clean. The jacuzzi was a bonus for our tired bodies after traveling from Kandy. Near all the tourist spots by tuktuk.

We absolutely loved our stay. We only spent one night, but the host was extremely welcoming, the room was incredibly cute and the breakfast was the best we've had in Sri Lanka so far. 🥰

We loved everything about this place. The rooms were clean, beds were extremely comfortable, food was great and beatiful bathroom so far our favorite place we stated in Sri Lanka. People who run this place were always making sure everyone was comfortable, had what needed and were happy. Loved our three nights stay here and would definitely return. We got tea and cookies on arrival which was very kind. Thank you ! Highly recommend it!

Offering barbecue facilities and views of the mountains, Thuring's Holiday Bungalow is set in Nuwara Eliya, 600 metres from Gregory Lake. Free private parking is available on site. We went to that place late at night. The place is very good, beautiful, clean, even in the middle of the night, they prepared a delicious meal and a delicious tea for us....Thank you!Mr.Ruwan.Best hospitality ever...we will visit there place again.

Free WiFi access is available in the public areas of this chalet. -Very friendly and accommodating -kind and generous hosts -detailed clean and comfortable and spacious bathroom and bedroom -eveythjng felt like great quality -food was 10 out of 10 especially the organic salad picked from their own garden -great view of tea gardens -they did our Laundry in a short period of time -the location was great, it is quiet and away from the busy town
