Also 10/15 min walk from the dock the boats leave for White Island There is lots of tuktuks passing on the main road 5 min walk away, make sure to get the orange ones. They charge 15 Pesos to go into the town to the market etc

There are not enough stars, no number big enough to rate properly the stay we had at Gert and Janice’s. The little and charming stone house in their garden is just simply amazing, with all the confort needed and great accommodations. The location, on the top of the hill offers great views on the sea and on Mantigue Island below. It also has a cooler climate, which felt really nice in a journey in the Philippines where it can be really hot sometimes. A true oasis of the Camiguin heights. But most of all, our hosts were the nicest, very kind, considerate and lovely. We really enjoyed spending time with them. The breakfasts were the best meals we had in the country so far, after a month and a half traveling around. Everything is fresh and comes from their own garden or nearby, so they can make sure of the origin and healthiness of their products, and it is of course delicious, very well prepared by the couple. We extended our stay, and still were sorry to leave. They made our stay in Camiguin simply unbelievable and unforgettable. We couldn’t be more grateful for their welcome, and simply to have met such nice people in a paradise place.

Our standalone unit (Beach Villa) was simple but had all the amenities we needed. The big surprise was the bathtub on the floor above it that had a view of the beach and the night sky. I only chose to stay one night in Camiguin because i don't know how remote I would feel as I was unsure about the Wifi, comfortability, and available utensils. However, as soon as I arrived here, I wished I spent more than a night. Looking to go back to Camiguin. This house specifically has strong WiFi, a lot of utensils available, and the rooms with AC were very comfortable. They had first aid kit available which was highly appreciated.
