The design of the hotel is wonderful and very authentic but manages to combine modern touches. The pool is heated and has views of the mountains making it very relaxing. The property is clean and has great facilities within the apartment. Jessica and the team do a fantastic job of making you feel welcome and providing all the information you need - very hospitable. The highlight for my kids was the pond with turtles and fish - a great touch! This is a great spot to explore Serra da Estrela and I would not hesitate in recommending this to anyone and hope to return one day for another stay! Thank you to the SERRA team!

The staff are amazing and truly care about making your stay amazing. The beds are very comfortable with high quality linens and various pillows to choose from. The bathrooms have towel warmers and the best high pressure rain showers. There is a little kitchenette nook in the hall with a microwave, fridge and sink for the guests to use. I can’t say enough about the breakfast — fresh scrambled eggs made to order and and assortment of local and homemade pastries, cakes and jams. Yummy fruits such raspberries, quince and ripe fresh pineapple. My kids enjoyed the refreshing pool. You do hear the church bells clearly though out the day but they stop at 10pm.

The house is beautiful, the view from the bedrooms is magical. It's the perfect place to be at peace with nature. Deolinda, the owner is the sweetest kindness person ever. Was such a wonderful experience! Will definitely visit again.

Moinho das fragas ligger i Figueiró dos Vinhos i Centro-regionen, 41 km fra Portugal dos Pequenitos. Staying in the woods right next to the river, hearing the water falling over the rocks and the birds chirping was so wonderful and peaceful. As remote as this beautiful stone cottage is, the wifi was excellent and the house was modern inside. We feel like we were a part of nature for our 3 days there and loved every moment!!!
