There is a barbecue place with a nice table on a pad below the house and everything is done very lovingly and thoughtfully. A nice person, Alex, was very caring, explained everything. You can contact him with any question. The bus stop is very close to the house. there are shops just two stops from the house. We really liked and sunk into the heart of this place. We will definitely stay here again.

We had a very pleasant three-night stay--couldn't ask for better. The rooms are new and well thought out and designed. The location is an easy walk from the old town of Durnstein so you can get away from the busyness of the old town. If you're arriving by train, the station is right around the corner but the trains are quiet. Breakfast was excellent and prepared and served by Theresa, the owner. Theresa knows how to take care of guests. She answered any questions we had and made excellent recommendations for restaurants.
