A perfect place for many reasons, but mostly for la grande Teresa, the owner. She does this with passion and strength, it is quite incredible. The breakfast is all from fresh products, made by Teresa,and simply huge and delicious. Teresa and her team are always present and kind. We stayed on the patio in the evening to have dinner (we had brought our own tomatoes and mozzarella) and Teresa kept bringing us homemade food for us to taste as well as limoncello. This is the highlight of our vacation and we regret not staying longer. Grazie per tutti !!!

We liked the modern furnished room with the terrace and beautiful surroundings. The nice gesture at our arrival was that the owner (daughter) offered as an aperitif and she also gave us small presents (home-made bread - something like rolled grissini). The owners did not speak English, but the friend of the daughter arrived and helped with the translation. They also helped us a lot to find the premises (since we had some problems with the car navigation).

Ability to bbq (gas bbq) on the terrace was something we enjoyed - meat from the butcher in the Dok supermarket was very good. Fantastic location in walking distance to lovely beaches and charming coves. A 10 minute walk into the beautiful old town of Otranto with it restaurants and cafes. Nearest cafe is a 3 minute walk with fabulous sea views. Host was very helpful and responsive.

There were not too many people around so it was quiet and there was always space to lie down. The apartment was clean and well equipped. Our terrace was in a lovely spot to catch the evening sun. The location was convenient - just a short 10 minute stroll to the old town of otranto.

The pool area is particularly special with lovely planting, little waterfalls, beautiful tiles/mosaics etc. There is a gym with we did not avail of and they also serve breakfast, lunch and drinks by the pool which is a great addition. We also loved that the property whilst in a quiet and peaceful spot is at the same time only a 10 minute walk into Otranto town. Otranto is a gorgeous and most interesting town.

It was equipped for longer stays with everything you need in the kitchen. We stayed three nights in March but would have loved to stay longer to enjoy the view out the back lawn. It felt like living in the quiet countryside but we were only a 10 minute walk down hill to the castle and all the Otranto amenities. The hosts are so kind and offered to drive us to and from the train station which was so generous. Highly recommended for your next trip to Otranto!JordanaYoung couple
