Exceeded our expectations on every level.
We had a short window with a flight at Stanstead but instead of staying in a faceless airport hotel, I found this little hidden gem!! Best thing I did was to stay here. The adjoining pub was beautiful, quirky and busy. With the quality of the food so high, I would make sure you book in advance.

Was a good location not on a busy street until you get in to the room.

Lovely place, we felt like we were home. The owners were very kind and helpful, the place was cosy and clean and the location was perfect. Close to shops and 2 minutes walk from Harlow Mill station. The area is quiet and the bed was nice and comfortable so we were able to get a nice rest.

It wasn't the greatest looking block of flats, let's say. However, inside the apartment was done to a good standard.

Its a very quirky hostel in the middle of a beautiful park with farm animals. Harlow is a very friendly town although it can be a bit rough. The formerly horrific town centre is halfway through being rennovated and already has some really nice parts to it. I've been to over 100 countries and I view Harlow as a very unique, special and authentic place with a strong identity.

"We chose the destination Horlow just to get to the neighboring town and take the metro to London. The town of Harlow isn't bad; there's a promenade and some shops. What I really liked was the park just outside the town, about a 20-minute walk away, where there was a small zoo, refreshments, and a playground for children."

After living in Harlow for 60+ years it has changed so much and very run down, the town centre is being demolished and no shops? But the hotel is situated in the old town and is in a lovely location. Harlow is close if you are travelling to London or Stansted airport.

The Harlow hotel was disgusting. Dirty and unkempt.
The Harlow hotel was disgusting. Dirty and unkempt. The rooms had nothing in them and the towels were old and not clean. .
It was full of refugees who were being housed there. My young daughters were woken at 1.30 by the police knocking on their door. They were questioned in relation to an incident that had no relation to them.
They were terrified and then couldn’t sleep. We were charged an additional £6 to park in the hotels own car park .
This cannot be described as a hotel but a refugee hostel at best yet we were charged £ 236 for one night.
I would question why booking.com have listed it as a hotel. It concerns me that I will experience something similar again as it was totally misrepresented. I will be reluctant to use booking.com if I cannot rely on the accommodation being as advertised.

Friendly, helpful staff. Nice decor.
Friendly, helpful staff. Nice decor. Good food, attractively displayed. Good internet. Clean room. Just surprised we had to pay £6 to park the cars over night. I can understand charging for guests leaving their car whilst on holiday but I think it should b3 included whilst staying at the hotel.

Fine as it was.
Fine as it was. But anyone looking for accommodation should be aware that this is a 'youth hostel' (former YHA) and the room I was in had 6 beds (3 bunk beds) in it. Fortunately just 3 men (including me).
There were other guests in other rooms. A kitchen where you can make your own food, and a pleasant sitting/dining room.
The owner has obviously gone to some trouble to decorate the place nicely.
I would recommend this place, and, in fact, am thinking of staying there on my next visit to England in Spring 2023. To be fair, this is my home town, and I know the area, and what to expect. It's in an excellent location for the railway station. But the town centre is dead - it used to be a thriving shopping centre in the 1960s/70s but is now a dilapidated and decayed and a right dump. There are plenty of nice spots around Harlow, though.
Pages Hotel is a beautiful old house that is set in a quiet area of Old Harlow which now has very good access from the M11 from the recently opened J7A. Even though my room was very basic I was surprised at how comfortable the bed was and I got a good nights sleep. Parking is available but you might get blocked in by other guests like I was. If possible I'd advise you to reverse into a parking spot or you can park on the road outside where I felt safe in parking my car.
Lovely tranquil and olde wordly village location, green and fresh, very nice room, clean, very quiet and peaceful, staff really friendly and welcoming, lovely generous breakfast, shout out to Sarah and Nicole, lovely friendly ladies who looked after me for breakfast time.
The atmosphere is very relaxed and you feel instantly at home, you can take your time and chill out, which makes a difference, great to escape the dreaded rat race of London life.
Breakfast was adequate. Glad it was there. Location was not especially convenient for me but It all worked out via public transport for this non-driver. Place was clean and I appreciated that. TV feception good too, and appreciated. And price more affordable than regular hotel. Also, the other people staying there whom I met were nice. Enjoyed my brief walk round the rather pretty 'hood espeially St Mary' churchyard - very near.
Stunning apartment with everything we needed. Welcome bottles of water and tea and coffee. Bathroom was operated by smart taps which were fairly easy to use, small toiletry bottles also provided. Very close to the Toby pub and Harlow Town train station for access to London. Beds were really comfy and bedding of good quality. I would definitely stay here again.
Great location, quiet with nice grounds, the property is really nicely done with quality décor, plush furnishings and really high-class bathrooms and kitchen. Did not expect to find this, it's 5 star! Easily comparably with some of the top hotels, will be looking to stay here again when working away.
although the town of Harlow is not much to visit, the hostel is an ideal night accomodation (next to the train station) to spend the day in London, or to catch an early plane at Stansted
very kind people, garden, kitchen, and a big park next door. prices are nice too.
Late arrival due to flight delays: got key without problem after midnight. It was on the way from Stansted Airport to London city a very good value for money. The central bus station right under the flat offers a very good service to the Harlow train station.
Great lodge type room but with good decor to make it feel more hotel and less lodge.
Very comfy bed, big telly good shower.
Good sized room, plenty of parking.
Handy for the pub, which I didn't use but looked ok. Good breakfast for a tenner.
The hotel was clean and welcoming. The staff was friendly and it was a good value for money. It is located strategically in the town centre. The bus station is just 20 metres away. The shopping centre is also at a walking distance.
Gorgeous apartment close to the train station, restaurants, beautiful park, and grocery stores. We loved being a bit outside of Londons city center and the ease of training into the city every day was wonderful.
A nice hotel out of London. It took us 15 Minutes to walk from Harlow Mill to the hotel. The pub is a very nice one and people could sit outside when the weather is nice.
