If you drive to Ooty, you better be an exceptional driver as most of the roads are either uphill OR downhill.
The important spots that I visited with my family are
1) Botanical Garden
2) Rose Garden
3) Doddabetta Peak
4) Train Station/Journey (to Coonoor)
5) Tea Garden (best for photos)
6) Tea/Chocolate factory (worth the visit at least once)
7) Government Museum (History Museum in the first Stone house)
8) Emerald lake (although very less water but worth the visit for the landscape and the scenery).
9) Pine forest (visit this place only if you love the nature and to walk in between the pine trees for some photos, otherwise it is long drive)
Getting around Ooty is easy if you have the GPS or at least know the routes very well otherwise you will never know where you will end up, especially the places where you can't take U-turn.

Ooty is crowded these days.
Ooty is crowded these days. I would prefer to stay in connor next time. The traffic was horrible and it was not peaceful to just go sightseeing.
But the weather was nice and cozy to stay inside the homestay.

If you wanna enjoy the nature with relaxing experience, then avoid going to Ooty during weekends / extended weekends as mostly working professionals from Bangalore & Mysore visit which makes the traffic a terrific thing in the city.

The best thing to experience is Ooty toy train and rose garden.
Other things are overhyped. The pyara waterfall, the pine forest , shooting point etc are greatly overhyped. You can completly sip these and plan for coonoor or other nearby places like Wayanad.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Beverly villa , and it was an unforgettable experience. The night staff was great. The receptionists Mubarak and Daniel were very helpful". From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction . “ The luxurious accommodations, coupled with exceptional service, made my stay truly memorable. The hotel’s prime location made exploring the city a breeze, and I can’t wait to return to Beverly villa on my next visit. Highly recommended!”
The guy who was talking to my phone was like he doesn’t wants me to use booking.com.He told me that checkin is 6 and when I called he was like the rooms is sold out please come directly after canceling the booking in booking.com.Once I get into the room the room was disaster. There was stain everywhere in the bedsheet feels like they didn’t change the linen.Blanket was smelling like pee and overall the room and staff are disaster and unprofessional.
Please don’t go there you can find a lot better options in the ooty.
They simply denied my booking. Asked me to contact customer care support to booking mis-management. I have serious concern when customer using online booking almost 3-4 days prior of arrival date then why the hell Hotel allocated that room to someone else without customer consent. Why customer has to suffer??? Why he has to look for another hotels on spot???
Further, It seems to below average hotel must be offered in below 1000 range despite heavy booking. Not at all worth for 1500.
I didn't like anything about the stay. I booked the room 2 weeks in advance and called me person Shasi to confirm the booking. He told us that the booking is confirmed. But when we reached the place on the day, he told us like the booking is not confirmed and he showed us a different room where there is no wifi, towel, drinking water, no breakfast. With out these facilities also they charged the same amount. Terrible experience with the hotel. Not recommended for family travellers.
No number , contact details not in use , location not found fake property , we were cheated by booking . Com , called booking . Com customer care also , they told like with in 10 mins they will solve the issue , we family with kids and senior citizen struggled in ooty early morning 6 am , on trusting this fake booking . Com , they are paka cheat
Nice hotel with nice view. Room was spacious and clean. Bathroom was OK as well. Staff were friendly. Staff members are taking care of cutest little kitty 🐈🐈🐈 he/she is sleeping on the reception sofa and is taken good care off ❤️ If you can, please bring cat food to help staff out. There is also pet shop -Pet Ford - in Ooty.
This was not the house we stayed at, it was changed, as Booking.com allowed us to rebook a booked apartment.
But the other apartment called the JOY cottage was good. Overall good location, good size for what we needed. Breakfast was good, except for the coffee.house was decent.
Bad location and hotel owner is also a lier, charge extra after online booking and different hotel given by the owner, showing something in online and when reached they changed the hotel, it's all fraud happening there
Totally impressed with the ambiance and the customer service. The size of the rooms are quite ok. We had a comfortable stay. Do not expect a 5 star hotel stay. This is a beautiful homestay and that's it.
Murli ji is an awesome being. He is fun to be with. The overall stay experience was amazing.
Loved the location. Loved the sunrise from the bugiyal nearby. Food was sooooper.

Such a dirty unhygienic place to stay. Couldn't understand why Booking.com include this hotel in its list. Price could be little more and please maintain the property for living
