The hotel far exceeded our expectations. It was extremely clean and modern. The staff, especially Anna, was so warm and welcoming. She really treated us like guests in her home. The breakfast was delicious with a nice assortment of options. It was in a great location for walking in Civitavecchia, close to restaurants, the farmers market, shopping and the train. Highly recommend.

Beautiful and quiet town. Everything within walking distance. Favorite place for quick bite was Mastro Titta Pizza within two blocks of Airbnb. I would recommend staying longer as there is much to do it Civitavecchia. We missed walking along the Harbor, visiting Fort Michaelangelo, and the beaches. We read about direct Shuttles to the Airport, none were available the day we left because no cruise ships were arriving in Port. Car Service was expensive. We ended up taking the Train, which was not as convenient but not bad at all and at a fraction of the cost!IdaUnited States of America - 10Scored 10

The hotel is an outstanding location for pre-cruise...
The hotel is an outstanding location for pre-cruise travellers as the location is just a few steps away from Largo della Pace where cruisers pick up the free shuttle to the cruise terminal. Just roll your luggages along the sidewalk then across the street onto the ramp towards area where the shuttle awaits.

We did not stay long enough to get to know it well enough but what I saw was great. I would advise anyone travelling to a hotel in town and coming off the Barcelona ferry not to use the Sat Nav until well into the centre. It is likely to take you through the port to a controlled gate which you will not be allowed to pass and you will be sent back. Just follow signs to the centre then switch on Sat Nav when well clear of the port.

Valerio, the host, suggested a driver and we were able to get to the property, even though it was extremely late. In the morning, Valerio came to the apartment and walked us to the location for boarding the cruise. The apartment is newly renovated, and in a great location. I highly recommend it for anyone planning a stay in Civitavecchia.
