Large clean room with clean sheets and towels. The location is good, on a safe street and within a couple of blocks to the main square. Air conditioning worked well and is needed. We took the tequila tour from the hotel and it was excellent. He gives you a better rate than from other tour operators.

Guadalajara is a beautiful city but as women travelling together we didn’t feel safe. Most people don’t speak English so have to use translation apps. Try and speak a bit of Spanish.
Beware of taxis and Ubers. Some in our party were picked up by Uber and robbed and left to get back themselves. The metro is easy to use.

A big city to explore the multiple beautiful towns near by.
A big city to explore the multiple beautiful towns near by. Most of the attractions here are in the historic center while most of the dining and entertainment is located in the Chapultepec neighborhood. Again Guadalajara is an excellent base for day trips the towns of Tequila, Ajijic, and the Chapala lake and of course Tlaquepaque.

Easy to get around. Interesting history. Lots of nearby towns and places to visit. I enjoyed a walking tour of the city, a day trip to Guachimontones (very interesting and unique ruins with circular pyramids) and a day of tequila tasting and tour of the Jose Cuervo Distillery in the city of Tequila.

This is my second visit to Guadalajara.
This is my second visit to Guadalajara. We stayed for 3 nights in Guadalajara. One in Central Guadalajara and 2 in Tlaquepaque.
The first night we went to Bruna Restaurant (modern Mexican) great food recommend. We then shopped in Andares mall. The next 2 nights were in Tlaquepaque, great place to wander around and see artisan, local products. We also drove to Tonala as I was looking especially for Mexican tile, Tonala cheaper than Tlaquepaque. But Tlaquepaque more picturesque and walkable.
I liked the Dali Plaza Hotel staff very much. The room was comfortable, with a great view of the Guadalajara Cathedral. The location reminded me of Times Square in the 1980s. There is a lovely neighborhood 15 minutes away called Colonia Americana. I never saw anyone who looked like me staying at the hotel, which was great because it meant I had lots of opportunity to practice my Spanish, and avoid English, as I hoped to do.
The location - Colonia Americana feels super safe. The hotel is surrounded by tons of restaurants and more. The room's decor is super modern with wooden panels yet the building is very industrial and minimalistic. Small details like the nespresso machine and the tap bedside lamp are a great touch. Honestly a steal with where the rooms are priced. Would recommend to anyone headed to Guadalajara
Great location, many restaurants, bars and shops, convenient buses to explore all zones of Guadalajara. About 35 minutes comfortable walk to Centro Guadalajara. Spacious 4-bed dorm with windows. Cleaning staff Estella and Jessy work hard to keep place clean. 8-10am breakfast of yogurt, fresh fruit, bread, cookies, coffee, tea, orange juice a wonderful bonus.
It was a VERY HOT weekend in Guadalajara and our Airbnb did not have AC. So we decided to spend our last night in town at the most gringo hotel we could find. It was exactly what we needed. Cold AC, cold beer, Mexican wine and they were able to schedule a nice cab to take us to the airport at 4:30 in the morning.
The room was awesome. The bed was comfortable and the room size was more than enough for having a great time. Furthermore the young man on the reception did a great job and was very helpful. We highly recommend this place. One of the best hotels at our journey around mexico. At the end the gym were well equipped.
Great hotel, location is within walking distance to centro, and the nighttime reception lady with the denim vest is super nice! In fact, all the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. This hotel is great value for money and I'd recommended it to anybody. The rooms are renovated absolutely beautifully.
Very nice hotel, modern, clean, excellent shower, amazing bed. English staff available at reception and very helpful. Great location in Centro. Metro line # 2 outside hotel entrance.
Excellent value.
Absolutely EVERYTHING! the rooms were large and very traditional Mexico, the setting of hotel is in a garden walled off courtyard, very quiet and tranquil, my new hotel for all my visits from now on
The hotel was close to the Centro bus station and the cathedral and every kind of shopping!
We loved the old Mexican boutique style of the Hotel!
Staff was and helpful.
Everything, the modern architecture, the location, staff, restaurants bars actually we stay 10 days in Guadalajara and we try two other hotels and this was the best
The Hotel was perfect for my one night stayed in Guadalajara. Very close to where I needed to go. Nice and clean, the food at the restaurant, was really good.
Location good, close to centro
