One of Poland’s oldest cities and a birthplace of the Polish nation, Poznan is the capital city of the Greater Poland (Wielkopolska) region. Famous for international trade fairs, high quality shopping and popular festivals, this city is on the rise!
Its colourful medieval Old Town flourishes with dozens of bars, cafés and pubs open until the early hours of the morning. During warm days, you can sit in one of the pretty beer gardens and admire the architecture and the world going by.
For something different, enjoy Europe’s only steam-hauled passenger train and ride to Greater Poland National Park. Alternatively, visit the reconstructed brewery and indulge in shopping, as the Old Brewery is now one of the world’s best shopping malls.
Poznan lies halfway between Berlin and Warsaw and perfectly combines the old and the new, from Ostrow Tumski with its beautiful St. Peter’s and Paul’s Cathedral, to the glass and steel of Poznan International Fair and the city's skyscrapers.
Booking.com has a wide range of accommodation in Poznan to fit all your needs, from convenient hotels, to stylish apartments and budget hostels. So whenever you happen to arrive at Poznan Lawica Airport, you’re only minutes away from exploring this fascinating city.
Beautiful city with plenty to do over a long weekend.
Beautiful city with plenty to do over a long weekend. We enjoyed the local food very much and would recommend it to other travellers. We booked a couple of activities like the Undercover Poznan and the local croissant making workshop, both were great fun.

Beautiful city for a long weekend of history, architecture, and eating and drinking. We spent a leisurely day each in the old town, cathedral island and the Kaiser's Castle/university area. Lots of green spaces, cafe culture and shopping. Ate at low to mid-priced restaurants and enjoyed every meal.

I haven't been into the city as I was travelling for work and visited locations around Poznan. Major roads are well-kept, but local roads from the highway to smaller cities/villages are in bad condition, but drivable.

This is a fantastic apartment to stay in for exploring Poznan. Location is excellent. Apartment is well equipped, modern, spacious and very clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Beata, the host went over and above, organising taxi transfers to and from the airport. Some complimentary coffee, tea & toiletries. Good Wifi.
Also worth a visit is the small cafe/bistro just around the corner. Breakfast is amazing. Ate there every morning.

Elevator available, pets friendly, 10-15mins walking distance from city centre. 5mins walking distance from nice shopping centre (old brewery), clean room, hygienic needs available in bathroom (brush, tooth brush, razor, tooth paste).. Not to mention breakfasts... amazing. The best of all was the staff. Very nice people helping you with any need.
The hotel was chosen primarily due to its location near the Poznan Airport. However, the hotel had full amenities including bar, excellent meals, wonderful facilities, clean, modern, near new facility. Very nicely appointed. The owner personally greeted us and spent time with us talking about our travel objectives and experiences. Very accommodating staff.
Hostel stonewall is wonderful. I enjoyed the entire stay...apart from getting to and from the main Poznan train station. I'm had to ask for help on every trip.
Hostel stonewall is very LGBT friendly which is quite a statement for an organization in Poland; Poland's very anti LGBT. I was surprised.
Well located hotel, only a 5-10 minutes drive from the city center.
Swimming pool was great with the nice temperatures.
Diner was excellent, our compliments to the kitchen staff!
Reception Manager Klaudia helped me a lot in advance by booking transportation from the airport, restaurant visit,...
Everything was perfect and staff were extremely supportive and kind. Food was delicious at the Comm hotel’s restaurant. The rooms are spotlessly clean and warm. Beds very comfy.
This is the best place to stay in just a few minutes walking from Poznan airport. I wish I could stay longer.
Every experience at this hotel was a pleasure - a standard you can always rely on and that's why whenever staying in Poznan I always choose this hotel (the rooms are always clean and comfortable, staff super helpful and the welcoming is top standard).
I generally like Hampton by Hilton not only in Poznan but also in other city. Compared to several similar hotel brands, it offers the best breakfast. Room was big and comfortable and the location was also very great. Check in process was nice also.
Amazing fancy breakfast! Best breakfast we’ve had in Poland in any hotel. Clean. Staff was friendly and let us check in an hour early. Across the street from the mall. Took only 30 min to train station and 15 min to old town.
The hotel is conveniently located close to the main train station and the Old Town. The rooms were satisfactory, clean and with comfy beds.
The breakfast was fabulous. You could also store your food in the kitchen fridge.
The location is 15 mins from the airport and 15 mins from the city centre so brilliant. It is quiet at night which means a good sleep. Breakfast is plentiful and has wide variety . Staff do their best to help.
Nice hotel in the city centre. Helpful staff and good rooms. Good selection for breakfast. In the next building you can find a traditional Ukrainian restaurant with super tasty food and great staff.
Staff was very welcoming and friendly, some of them could speak English very well. Very child friendly people. Hotel is 15 minutes to the old town. 30 minutes Uber drive (40plb) to the airport.
Nice budget hotel in the city centre.
Located in renovated office building, new and comfortable for short stay.
Nice view of Poznań. Good value for money.

The accommodation is very close to the airport. It is perfect for overlays or early fights. The hotel is well equipped, clean and has a good breakfast.
Really nice hotel, clean and modern. Perfect location- opposite the airport. Very convenient if you fly in the morning or arriving very late in Poznań.
