Boasting rooms with iPod docking station and luxurious décor, The Orchids is located in La Candelaria, Bogotá’s historical district. Excellent accommodation. The staff was very,very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was plentiful and was selected from a menu - i.e. not from a buffet but made to order - and the location is excellent, just round the corner from Plaza Bolívar, the Gold Museum, the Botero Museum and other important sights. The room was very large and quiet. Highly recommended

An incredibly beautiful period place.. like a museum. Lots of lovely areas to sit and chill/ read. Room cozy and comfortable. Breakfast is in bakery next door and is very nice.this bakery also good for getting sandwiches/ cakes for day. Hotel friendly. Location was excellent location and very close ,5min, from main sites. Do free walking tour from outside gold museum allows you to know area.

This is a hidden gem. Right in the center of the historic Bogota (La Candelaria). This is where you want to stay if you want to be within walking distance of the restaurants, museums, and sightseeing - including Monserrate. The stay was very cozy and comfortable. The helpdesk employees were so easy to work with, and always answered any questions I had. There is a hang-out/gym on the terrace that is fun if you want to get away and do some self-discovery. They also have a laundry service where you can get your laundry back the same day. Would definitely stay here again.

With its central location in the Candelaria district, the Hotel Ambala Bogota offers pleasant accommodations in downtown Bogota. It is only 14 km from El Dorado International Airport. Fantastic location! Within walking distance of numerous city attractions. The hotel was extremely clean, and both the beds and pillows were very comfortable. Friendly staff.
