The Fontenay Hamburg is a 5-star hotel situated on the shore of the Alster Lake in Hamburg, within walking distance of the famous shopping area at Jungfernstieg. Great location, beautiful rooms, we enjoyed the pool with the nice view. Breakfast was really superb as well, and all the staff were very professional, friendly and super helpful.

This hotel in central Hamburg offers free Wi-Fi in all rooms. Hotel Fresena is near Dammtor Train Station, Hamburg's CCH Exhibition Centre and the Alster Lake. We can only have positive words for Hotel Fresena. The room was very comfortable with a large window, comfortable beds and everything was clean. There was room service. Every morning they offered an exceptional breakfast with a great variety of food, sweet and salty. The Staff was very attentive at all times: they attended us at our entrance explaining everything we could do in Hamburg, location, most visited places, etc. and they were available for everything we needed. Without a doubt if we return to Hamburg, we will book here. Thank you very much to the entire team of the Hotel!
